Plus, with the rise of budget airlines, they're all about squeezing as many seats as possible onto each plane. And let's not forget about those fancy new slimline seats-they might look sleek, but they're not exactly comfy. So yeah, it's a combination of airlines wanting to pack in more passengers and save on costs that's led to our current cramped flying experience.
