There's another company that does weathering effects called sculpt nouveau they have a bunch of patina sprays that could be fun to use for different color effects.
Dude, very nicely done! Great patina! I used a copper oxide paint similar to this and the best part is it continues to age and add more depth of color and weathering as long as you don't seal it or spray a top coat on it. The cracked visor is a cool design element, as well. Good job.
Rust drips down from surface features like buttons and rivets because water gets trapped between the items and doesn’t evaporate, causing more rusting. :)
They call it Rust Activator, by Modern Masters www.amazon.com/Modern-Masters-PA904-16-Activator-16-Ounce/dp/B000I1QE7Y/ref=sr_1_34?dchild=1&keywords=Modern+Masters&qid=1610762193&sr=8-34
I wanna do one like this, and have big paint chips of the original colors over the rust, I think that would be dope!
That’ll be cool!
Wow, bravo sir. That looks amazing, a very wonderful job!
Thanks bud! Guess I overestimated the amount of rust it'd pick up from its time in a sarlacc belly, eh?

Thanks dude! The copper ones do look cool - maybe this thing needs a copper face..
