Made it halfway up the comp plan. Was celebrated as a success in the company. But when all was said and done, I lost $6,000. This is just vile.

I wonder how they calculate their money claims. I believe certain companies reward 'million dollar earners' which may be on income made for the company not what they take home in pay, and also is culmulative over whole time in the mlm.
If she is in top 5 then maybe this woman is talking about 6 figures a month (off the back of downline, yuck) but others talk about it as a year $100 000. Still impressive. but if they start saying they have earned X amounts 'since joining this mlm' well compared to a monthly gross salary added up over say 3 years, it may not be be such a win.

My sister was a hairstylist, an example given in the video. Ironically, no portion of my sister’s profit was dependent on her ability to recruit other hairstylists. She didn’t receive bonuses for “building a team” of hairstylists. She made money when she worked one-on-one with clients. It blows my mind how these MLMers will give examples of jobs that are NOTHING like what they do to try to prove the legitimacy of what they do. My sister didn’t have a comp plan that she had to “maintain rank” in to get paid. If she did hair, she got paid. If she didn’t do hair, she didn’t get paid. These people are so brainwashed that it almost makes me sad…. But at a point they know what they’re doing and they know the reality of why they recruit, so if they know the truth & are complicit… I can’t feel that bad for them.

I just stumbled on to your channel and wow! The part that stood out to me is like as an employee if my boss ever spoke to me like this I would be gone immediately. I am not a small business owner, but I do manage a team for a popular retailer and I would never expect my people to respect me if I spoke to them like this.

And love to turn around and say their jobs are easy…She literally sits down all day to think about who she’s gonna stalk and scam to join her company. I hate. I hate with so much of my being ppl like this.

As an independent contractor (massage therapist at that) I still get paid per appointment- in fact I make 100% commission. However I have to pay for rent & lotion, clean my own linens, and do my own taxes- that's the difference between being an employee and an independent contractor. I show up day after day and get paid- MLM's can't say that lol. Side note let's make 2023 the year we stop saying masseuse 😂 I worked too damn hard for my education for people to still be saying masseuse 🤢😂

imagine going to a clothing store and the salesperson tries to convince you to not only buy clothes, but to open your own clothing store next door selling the exact same things and give them some of the money, THEN they tell you that you should get someone to start ANOTHER clothing store next to yours where they give you part of their earnings so you can give them a part and so on and so on

I don't care if these huns have an LLC for their taxes. It's not only incorrect when they claim that they're business owners (and utterly RIDICULOUS that the company itself is usually the source of that notion; the company, the damn full, real CEO in many cases, is who starts this shit by telling the SALES REPS that they are their own bosses and own their own businesses). When they insist that they're a CEO of a company they now own after simply signing up and buying a starter kit (a KIT, A FUCKING KIT- I want to scream!) it is so insulting to those of us who really do have our own legitimate small businesses.
As I've kinda already implied I am a small business owner; I make and custom dye wigs for those who either suffer from hair loss like me but still want to have colorful mermaid hair or those who want to rock bright vivid hair colors but can't because of their jobs or whatever other reason there might be. I had to learn how to create the product and perfect my technique which took years and then I had to figure out costs and expenses, where to buy materials, how much I needed to charge to make an acceptable profit. I had to figure out marketing, if I wanted to buy ads and where, business cards, a social media account for the business. Finally I had to advertise and sell the products. This last sentence and the things I mentioned in it are the only things that my small business and huns in an mlm have in common. All the other stuff, nah. I control everything in my business. I do everything myself. Huns absolutely do not, so it would be much appreciated if they'd drop the business owner act. However, I know they're never going to admit the truth because if they admit they're lying about one thing- well, what else might be a lie? If you start asking too many questions, then the whole pyramid begins to fall apart. So the best I can do is let out my frustrations in a rant in a RUclips comment. Maybe it'll help someone who's been trappened in an mlm but is starting to have doubts and this comment will help open their eyes. Probably not buy a gal can hope 😂

Even in the first 3 years where a small business is typically not making money, the employees are still getting paid. There just isn't profit yet. Labor is an expense, even if mlms don't see it that way.
