A Ray of Light But you are a God of forgiveness, gracious and merciful, slow to become angry, and rich in unfailing love. -Nehemiah 9:17 Even in the mess Samson had made of his life, even though the Philistines had captured him and blinded him, there was a little ray of light. The Bible says, “But before long, his hair began to grow back” (Judges 16:22) What is this verse saying? It’s telling us there is hope, even if we have failed. As Samson’s hair began to grow, his strength returned. However, Samson’s strength was not in his long hair. Rather, it was in his commitment to God. His hair symbolized a vow he had taken as a Nazirite. And his hair was returning. One night when the Philistines were having a drunken feast to their false god, someone came up with the idea of dragging out the sightless Samson to make fun of him. So, they brought Samson from the prison into a big party where Philistines were engaging in debauchery and the worship of a false god. Meanwhile, Samson said to the young servant who was leading him, “Place my hands against the pillars that hold up the temple. I want to rest against them” (verse 26) So, the servant did as Samson had asked. Then the Bible tells us, “Samson prayed to the Lord, ‘Sovereign Lord, remember me again. O God, please strengthen me just one more time. With one blow let me pay back the Philistines for the loss of my two eyes.’ Then Samson put his hands on the two center pillars that held up the temple. Pushing against them with both hands, he prayed, ‘Let me die with the Philistines’ ” (verse 28-30) Samson pushed with all his might, and the temple where they were came crashing down. As it turned out, Samson killed more Philistines that day than he had during his entire life of fighting them on the battlefield. In contrast to the life of Samson, the Bible tells the story of another young man who experienced sexual temptation. His name was Joseph. The Bible says he was good-looking and well-built, and his employer’s wife constantly tried to seduce him. She also was about as subtle as Delilah. In fact, she said, “Come and sleep with me” (Genesis 39:7) But Joseph resisted her, saying, “My master trusts me with everything in his entire household. No one here has more authority than I do. He has held back nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How could I do such a wicked thing? It would be a great sin against God” (verses 8-9) But one day she decided to do whatever she could to make this happen. She sent her servants outside, grabbed Jospeh, and pulled him down on the bed. So, Joseph did what any smart person should do in a similar circumstance. He ran. And he ran fast. That is what we need to do when we’re faced with temptation. But even when we mess up, even when we have failed, God gives second chances. Do you need a second chance? Do you want to get up and try again? God can give you a second chance today.

Love these videos! I wish her the best! She doesnt make a lot of money but she lives a very fulfilling life and she loves what she does from the looks of it. Would love to visit her bar next time I visit akihabara!

I sometimes go to that Saizeria next to Akiba station when I'm in Tokyo! I go there in between training sessions during my musha shugyo. (every 2-4 months staying 2-3 weeks at a time).

Camerman defo slightly slipped up when Gumi advised on her earnings of 150k Yen and he questioned what her overall income was with the bar and that included the bar bless her! Either way, I'd say she's one of the first people I've ever seen to say that Japan is cheap! The main thing I remember when I travelled to Japan a few years ago was how expensive it was and how small the portions of everything were! I lost 6KG in 2 weeks travelling there!

Lovely video btw. I just came back from Tokyo. I agree with this Gumi, Japan is a well developed country, I feel that Japanese lost the major quality of being friendly due to being a very developed country. What I saw was people are self absorbed, afraid to bother other people around them, therefore they don't express their emotions in public.

Sadly I will never be able to enjoy japanese food as I have coeliac disease. ~_~ I can't even eat out anywhere here in the UK because of it either. I can make requests of the food prep team to be careful when making my food so it doesn't get contaminated with food types I have reactions to but still every time I've still gotten sick from eating out. Can you imagine trying to ask people who prepare the food to be mindful of my dietary requirements in another language, country and culture? Makes me wonder how people who are Japanese living in Japan deal with their own dietary issues when eating out. Or if they are like me and stick to eating only at home.
I guess that rent price is per month so 60,000 yen for a studio with kitchen, bathroom is so cheap. I thought with a place in a city central like tokyo the price would be insane.
Does music, illustrations, costumes, knows 2 languages, does home renovations on her own and works as well. Nice! Though she could definitely find a better job imo.
150k Yen is at most 1000 dollars USD, and she has to use almost half that for rent. With Yen getting even weaker, food prices might be lower in Japan, but she is not going to be able to afford anything else.

she has so many really cool hobbies, especially making her own shirts, and i really like her apartment. unfortunately an apartment like that here in Los Angeles would be around $2300 a month! seems so fun to live in Tokyo
Great video. I'm so surprised to see how cheap it is to live in Japan, especially in a major metro area. Even eating out in a very well known city is affordable. I'm very surprised to see her 'make it' and live well despite such a low salary (no offense to her!)
I don't understand though, I am Australian and when she introduced herself in English it didn't sound like an Australian accent. It sounded Australian accent influenced but not like someone born and raised in Australia. Not criticizing, just saying, anyway she seems very nice.
Funny. This was a bit random to see her on youtube. Meet her at the bar she works in last sepember. Was nice speak english for a bit. The bar was so so nothing special.
She should really be doing a more lucrative side job like English teaching considering her background. Unless she does seedy hostess bars (clearly not given bad pay), no reason why she should do bar work.
@@eatnplaytoday u start it by going to any teaching centre if u dont want to freelance. Not hard. But yes i suspect it's her personality. Frankly pretty foolish. Travel across the world with her English skills to actively pursue and do a mediocre job with mediocre pay.
Anyone that says they want to become famous, is doing it for the wrong reason. Notice how she says nothing about being the best or bringing joy to others, she just wants to be popular and famous. She is deluded.
Me: trying to figure out how he makes $150k with what he does, the whole interview. me: after 10 minutes I realize I'm an idiot, since Japan has the yen.
That restaurant is cheap but one of the worse that I have ever been to. I’m not sure why people go there when there is good and cheap food all over Japan
How about you? Tell us how a life is supposed to look, what does your magnificent life look like, we are just mere mortals after all but you, you are like a god among us, please teach us master.
I have commissioned her for a drawing before in the past when she still in Australia. Very talented person and very kind too. I wish Gumi all the best ❤
Are you Japanese?

With one blow let me pay back the Philistines for the loss of my two eyes.’ Then Samson put his hands on the two center pillars that held up the temple. Pushing against them with both hands, he prayed, ‘Let me die with the Philistines’ ”
(verse 28-30)
Samson pushed with all his might, and the temple where they were came crashing down.
In fact, she said, “Come and sleep with me” (Genesis 39:7)
But Joseph resisted her, saying, “My master trusts me with everything in his entire household. No one here has more authority than I do. He has held back nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How could I do such a wicked thing? It would be a great sin against God”
(verses 8-9)
But one day she decided to do whatever she could to make this happen.
I’m so glad you’re both back, Ken and Erica and with a great video! I wish Gumi the very best of luck in the future. She’s got an amazing ability at drawing and making clothes! I can’t even draw a circle 😂 60,000 Yen is £319 so not a bad price for her accommodation.
Love these videos! I wish her the best! She doesnt make a lot of money but she lives a very fulfilling life and she loves what she does from the looks of it. Would love to visit her bar next time I visit akihabara!

What is this verse saying? It’s telling us there is hope, even if we have failed.
As Samson’s hair began to grow, his strength returned. However, Samson’s strength was not in his long hair. Rather, it was in his commitment to God. His hair symbolized a vow he had taken as a Nazirite. And his hair was returning.
One night when the Philistines were having a drunken feast to their false god, someone came up with the idea of dragging out the sightless Samson to make fun of him. So, they brought Samson from the prison into a big party where Philistines were engaging in debauchery and the worship of a false god.

Not sure she'll see this... but let her know that she'll make it... I'm following her immediately ❤... cheers GUMi
Compared to Australia it's very cheap.
Great video upload again!

In contrast to the life of Samson, the Bible tells the story of another young man who experienced sexual temptation. His name was Joseph. The Bible says he was good-looking and well-built, and his employer’s wife constantly tried to seduce him. She also was about as subtle as Delilah.
Great video!
A Ray of Light
But you are a God of forgiveness, gracious and merciful, slow to become angry, and rich in unfailing love.
-Nehemiah 9:17
Even in the mess Samson had made of his life, even though the Philistines had captured him and blinded him, there was a little ray of light.
The Bible says, “But before long, his hair began to grow back” (Judges 16:22)
What is this verse saying? It’s telling us there is hope, even if we have failed.
As Samson’s hair began to grow, his strength returned. However, Samson’s strength was not in his long hair. Rather, it was in his commitment to God. His hair symbolized a vow he had taken as a Nazirite. And his hair was returning.
One night when the Philistines were having a drunken feast to their false god, someone came up with the idea of dragging out the sightless Samson to make fun of him. So, they brought Samson from the prison into a big party where Philistines were engaging in debauchery and the worship of a false god.
Meanwhile, Samson said to the young servant who was leading him, “Place my hands against the pillars that hold up the temple. I want to rest against them” (verse 26)
So, the servant did as Samson had asked.
Pushing against them with both hands, he prayed, ‘Let me die with the Philistines’ ”
(verse 28-30)

I'm jealous how neat and organized is
Lovely video btw. I just came back from Tokyo. I agree with this Gumi, Japan is a well developed country, I feel that Japanese lost the major quality of being friendly due to being a very developed country. What I saw was people are self absorbed, afraid to bother other people around them, therefore they don't express their emotions in public.
Ken-chan when will you upload a new episode?
welcome back
Don't we all get motivated with a deadline lol.. Gumi, you're not alone.
I wish her best for getting new friends!
I cant wait until next video

Sadly I will never be able to enjoy japanese food as I have coeliac disease. ~_~
I can't even eat out anywhere here in the UK because of it either.
I wish her the best. I'm also trying to move to Japan to make my dreams come true, or just trying to escape the US. Not entirely sure...
Whichever that is...Hope you have another great start to your life in Japan!!!
She's so sweet
Damn. $1000 income is enough to live in Japan? 😮
Great video, I hope Gumi makes some Japanese friends soon!
Wow amazing and please continue your amazing video 😄✨
Wow... She has some of the best teeth I have seen in Japan.
very interesting 😊
I missed your content man! Another great upload 😁 (PS: Don't be so scarce)
❤ ur videos
I guess that rent price is per month so 60,000 yen for a studio with kitchen, bathroom is so cheap.
I thought with a place in a city central like tokyo the price would be insane.
Does music, illustrations, costumes, knows 2 languages, does home renovations on her own and works as well. Nice!
Though she could definitely find a better job imo.
GUMI!
nice attitude! 頑張れ!あきらめないで!
I'm so tall and wide I wonder If I could find suitable accommodations in Japan For what my work could afford!
150k Yen is at most 1000 dollars USD, and she has to use almost half that for rent. With Yen getting even weaker, food prices might be lower in Japan, but she is not going to be able to afford anything else.
i'm 23 and haven't left my room in 3 years 😿
That may be sign of depression…
Vibes❤❤❤❤

150k yen a month is £750 in the UK...that's only £9,000 a year :/ it's not a lot
The rents and salaries in Japan are really shocking...(-.-);;
that 60k yen rent tho so expensive for a tiny room wtf that's a fancy apartment already in philippines.
Best wish for her
she has so many really cool hobbies, especially making her own shirts, and i really like her apartment. unfortunately an apartment like that here in Los Angeles would be around $2300 a month! seems so fun to live in Tokyo
僕も鳥貴族が大好きです!😄
Great video. I'm so surprised to see how cheap it is to live in Japan, especially in a major metro area. Even eating out in a very well known city is affordable. I'm very surprised to see her 'make it' and live well despite such a low salary (no offense to her!)
She is so brave. I mean letting a guy that looks like that cameraman alone. That's scary.....
love gumi i would totally be her friend
ほんだ さん、 ひさしぶりです。
What about her music activities? you didn't touch it at all in the video...
Check out her socials!
❤ hamtaro!
im missed you brother
only watched ten seconds but im curious coz im in australia lols
when i saw the title i thought it was 150k USD
Same lol
I don't understand though, I am Australian and when she introduced herself in English it didn't sound like an Australian accent. It sounded Australian accent influenced but not like someone born and raised in Australia. Not criticizing, just saying, anyway she seems very nice.
its packaged food i think you can still eat them
Funny. This was a bit random to see her on youtube. Meet her at the bar she works in last sepember. Was nice speak english for a bit. The bar was so so nothing special.
Ken's wife must REALLY trust him to be around such a hottie 😅
A healthy relationship is when there is trust on both parties.
She should really be doing a more lucrative side job like English teaching considering her background. Unless she does seedy hostess bars (clearly not given bad pay), no reason why she should do bar work.
Maybe she’s not sure how to go about starting the teaching stuff. Maybe it’s boring for her and bar work is more fun. She seems to like to drink
@@eatnplaytoday u start it by going to any teaching centre if u dont want to freelance. Not hard. But yes i suspect it's her personality. Frankly pretty foolish. Travel across the world with her English skills to actively pursue and do a mediocre job with mediocre pay.
i think this salary should be posted in usd like 150k salary is a lot lol then i realized its jpy
Anyone that says they want to become famous, is doing it for the wrong reason. Notice how she says nothing about being the best or bringing joy to others, she just wants to be popular and famous. She is deluded.
Че не так с озвучкой
秋葉原・・もう行かなくなったなぁ。ここで買えるものは大抵通販やネットショッピングで買える時代だし。街中も以前の雰囲気とは異なり騒々しさしかなくて居心地悪い。
She kinda looks and talks like a kid though.
That's what I like about her.
burikko culture!
He talks and looks normal to me. Her dress clothes are beautiful and very feminine.
are we talking 150k yen or 150k usd lol
human love depresses other to benefits only them self, keep them poor... but where his mom and his father?
Too old to become an idol, but want to be idol. Hope her goodluck!
She’s not that old. There’s been older girls on this channel trying to make it in the idol world
Me: trying to figure out how he makes $150k with what he does, the whole interview.
me: after 10 minutes I realize I'm an idiot, since Japan has the yen.

oof what a life to live...
Does she want an Australian boyfriend? :D Also 23
That restaurant is cheap but one of the worse that I have ever been to. I’m not sure why people go there when there is good and cheap food all over Japan
nah this aint a "real" anime lover's room
what are you talking about
Chinese ?
raised for 21 years in aus but doesn't have perfect eng pronunciation;;
she...she doesn't speak english at any point in the video, what are you on?
What a tragic life, replete with soft toys, cartoons & all the trappings of infantility.
How about you? Tell us how a life is supposed to look, what does your magnificent life look like, we are just mere mortals after all but you, you are like a god among us, please teach us master.
