Respecto a la soldadura te aconsejo que practiques en circuitos con dispositivos SMD de aparatos que ya no sirvan. Utiliza pasta y procura mantener la punta del Cautín lo más limpia posible. La soldadura debe ser rápida para evitar dañar los dispositivos

Is possible that it work it, but maybe will be affected with the changes of the light more frequently

J1 is like a power switch. J2 and J3 is to change between operation and propraming mode, both together in the same side (position)
