This what your knowledge ( not RUclips university or bluffing without data ) Really informative video with a proper explanation and data analysis also with proper comparison of MOC of break pads .. Just wow and last part related to how to break and use engine breaking.. Just wow
Also, I want to highlight that the tall gearing hinders engine braking in low speed situations. This makes the brakes wear out faster when used for commuting purpose.
Bro this comment was very helpful... I was also frustrated while driving at 20-30 i don't have that much control over my bike while driving over 40 it's nicer... I'm blaming my driving skills or i bought the wrong machine.. But now I understand tall gearing is the issue
Just when I was pondering which Brake Pads to buy for my front on the CB (i changed them with OE just 3k kms back and have come to know that my front brake pads have again worn out pointed out by another Raj's videos that one hint is that the oil level in the master cylinder reduces, so I suspect my front brake pads have worn out again in just 3k kms), Raj sir comes in clutch with a detailed informative video. Thanks Raj sir. Wish your channel all the success it truly deserves. Gem of the Honda Hness CB community. Most of my seat time is in the city so, I will opt for the Vesrah Ceramic ones for the lever feel that you mentioned. Thanks Raj sir
Appreciate your efforts. The issues happening with today's moto vloggers / reviewers are that many are not knowing mechanical things, they just want views, likes and comments for earning money. That's the reason many are not able to give good content. They just go with the flow.
Loved it ❤ Apart from the brake pad study, the end part of "Late breaking" is worth a watch. The art of flowing with traffic is a skill very less acquired these days. Nowadays, in traffic all I can see is Throttle Horn Brake whereas it should be Throttle Gear Down Brake and then horn only if required.
Appreciate the hard work. It is unbelievable that your Nikavi and Vesrah brake pads look absolutely brand new barely any wear on them. I have a CBR250R C-ABS model and i use Honda OEM semi sintered pads and they hardly last 6000 kms (thats 1 year as per my usage). And I have decent braking habits. Nothing too harsh. There are no scratches on the disc plate either.
Nice comparison of the Stock brake pads & other brands. I had purchased the CB350 around 2 months back. I hove some quires:- 1. At the time of 1st service (690KM),I was advised by the service adviser for getting the both the Disk brakes cleaned by the "Wurth" Brake cleaner at their service centre for which they have charged me, I observed that nothing was done, is it necessary to get both the Disk brakes cleaned at regular intervals?? 2. Service adviser explained the Chain cleaning & lubrication with the "Honda" Chain & Lube, but the very next day after servicing I noticed the Chain was almost dry and there was "Rust",moreover during the servicing, I was looking through the customer Lounge, the mechanic, lubricated the chain with some oil through the oil pump. I asked the supervisor & explained the matter at the time of delivery but he said that was for washing the chain after the engine Oil change and actually they have shown me the ""Honda" Chain & Lube" in the washing Bay and billed the chain cleaning. It was just for making some extra money, now I am cleaning the chain with Diesel and lubricating it with Gear oil 80W 90 GL-5 multi grade which is far better than the service centre done. Kindly Post video on gearing for lowest & highest speed in each gear.
Hats off to you Raj sir, for making such informative videos for CB 350 community. Any topic I want to research upon, I get your detailed videos already available on it. 😊 Thank you.
Sirji, amazing video.. so much long term planning. Brakes are my biggest complaint on the bike. I have had pulsars for 20 years and even the first gen pulsar brakes had better weather resistance than these brakes. Brembo and Bajaj got it right 20 years ago. In CB350 the amount of effort required to slow down makes it difficult to modulate in traffic, so you dont get confidence and you have ride like a saint. Now i dont ride in the rainy season anymore. On a seperate note, awaiting your performance improvement video.

I can confirm like last year i was driving in gurgaon where there were lots of water on road like it was covering half of my tyres, my front brake just stopped working, there was free flow of brake lever, initially i thought it may be due to abs sensor. Now time to shift to ceramic pads. Thanks Raj🙏❤️
Appreciate the efforts taken to demonstrate longevity of different brakepad types. Nicely explained braking technique and engine braking usage. Kudos to your efforts and patience
I really liked your video. Your hard work and effort is highly appreciated. Thank you so much for your assistance in choosing the right brake pads. This is going to help many bikers a lot. God bless you 🙏
Such a wonderful video and information. I am from Kerala. Here most of the time the weather will be rainy and my stock brake pads ie organic pads would worn out fastly. So now I decided to use ceramic brake pads. Once again Thanks for the information
I have completed 32k aims and my 1st front pad got workout at almost 17K. Post that i got the Nissin Sintered but my front disk had a slight bent which impacted my right side of the pad. Again got the OE organic at 25K. Rear break pads only changed twice so able to do a good long ride
Absolutely Undoubtedly The best video ever by any Indian youtuber or whatever Thanks a Lot on Part of All the riders not just Honda riders for Break pads quality and comparison.

Thanks for the video, I changed by front break pad month back. After 28 days I took my vehicle to PCMC Honda Bigwing for regular service, service advisor told me that break will last only for 150 km. I was surprise and puzzled as I drove just around 400 km in between (commuting to office only) and that too with caution always. I requested not to change it for now. But this is really concerning that as the new break pad will last for (400 +150) = 550 km.
I got my front brake pads replaced almost two weeks back and they are already half gone in just 600Kms. Initial pads lasted for 7638Kms. Did you find any solution for it?
Sirji, crank1 ki ceramic pad me wear indicators nahi hai... Crank1 says those grooves are for heat dissipation, and as ceramic heats up very less, they don't provide grooves in ceramic pads. Try them sometimes. And as always, solid video.
I would like to know about the Vesrah Brake Pads and you already covered it in your video. It is very good to see that Vesrah Brake Pads are extremely wonderful in all your used brake pads. If possible then please make a video on Clutch Cable and Throttle Cable as well as Battery and Battery Charger because I have seen in many videos, there are major problems occurred in BS6 motorcycles due to battery charger.
Thanks buddy 🙂. Most BS6 bikes are suffering with battery issues mainly due to the use of small capacity batteries used by manufacturer to reduce cost and they can afford small capacity batteries due to the usage of LED lights all round.

@@RajkaGarage Thanks! And yeah the cleaning/restoration kit itself is worth about 10 of the OEM honda paper filters 😄. But again, I don't think I'll need to buy the kit until after several thousand kilometres. And I do need the throttle improvement at highway speeds only (at higher gears and high RPMs where there is an oddly weak power band). In cities the stock throttle response is adequate. Sir, in one of your post you've mentioned to apply black paint and some other things on the joints (weldings) of Highness frame to prevent rusting. Can you please tell me the details of it... I'm getting my new bike in couple of days.

Review on BMC air filter for CB 350
Raj sir what is the life and performance of vesrah ceramic brake pads..are they good for CB 350.
Vesrah lasts upto 14-15k kms for front and rear even longer. They have sufficient bite in terms of performance and works well at high speed.
@@RajkaGarage hi sir I have one doubt, if we change to ceramic brake pad will there be problem with caliper or rotor ?

Sir does it make sense buying a cb highness in 2024..my commute is 90 percent in city and I want to take up weekend highway rides..will the new Himalayan be better..
Hi i am thinking of buying cb350rs . I was worried about it's high maintenance cost but came across you're channel .
Do you think a newbie will be able to do maintenance after free service. Like i will go to service center for things like chain replacement, brake issue only. Rest filters and spark plug and engine oil I'll change my self.
You're reply would be appreciated.
@RajkaGarage On tyres, can we fit royal enfield tyre size of 120/80/18 at the rear of the cb350 hness? As i am thinking of block pattern touring tyres from REISE. Please advice
