i also hated regina's neon green pants 😭 when i saw them i really couldn't believe it because they made no damn sense!! and your thoughts about regina's styling as whole were mine exactly. idk why the picked the cheapest looking clothes for her.....such a disservice to gorgeous renee and to her character 💔

Totally agree! and yes, I love the fact that they played around with makeup for Janis' character
They missed the mark to play with her costume more since in the film we know/she says that she makes her own clothes too.. so the patchwork skirts you mentioned would have totally worked.
not saying she needed to be decked out in Margiela, but more deconstructed elements would have been perfect for her. also janis would be a upcycling thrift store queen in 2024 🤣

Right, the make up for for Janis was iconic but then they left like nothing and that was disappointing 😅 like give us more and right, if she was an artsy person, then she’d make her clothes and make her a thrifting girlie
