Thats really cool they were able to find a way to keep the Fowler style flaps on the model instead of hinging them. Really cool you got the maneuver position dialed in too (half way). Looking good
I was going to carry on on my rc plane built, but then the new video dropped. I guess that my plane has to wait a little bit.. this is more important to watch
I cannot believe how quickly 20 channels are used and there's me thinking 9 will do lol, yeh right lol. great explanation of things by the way. Thank you x
I've been waiting for this build ever since you mentioned it and boy will this plane be awesome. Your the best, and wanted to let you know that I also have a trusted bent screwdriver which I use for everything as you do. The only thing different is mine is black. LOL. Keep up the great videos, they really help and are very interesting.
Is the flight time long enough to have it do an autonomous waypoint mission? It might be a fun test. Team Blacksheep used a larger wing to deliver mail across the Alps. Great vid!
Hope you don’t have a Fight on your Hands with the Two Screwdriver 🪛 🪛 hope you run Candy Lights on this mean A10. Take Care and Be Safe. Thanks for the Video. 👍
@@thelightersideofrc Sir if you have Time check out Martin Pickering new video he lighted his Jet plus the Exhaust Tube Moves for steering. It be a Nice upgrade to your Diamond ♦️
Do you think they're just that incompetent or do you think they just put the wrong stuff into the kits? I swear I think they know which jet you're getting so just to mess with you. You always go a step above and beyond and build these kits right. I just hope I get one to see you build it. Maybe the Mibo A10 grandad is something you haven't built. Dreaming again😂
HAHA. I would think the opposite Chris but it's the same for every kit. I believe they design the kit and then only manufacture it that way. Not very open to suggestions or change at all. That is quite normal with SM.
Wait a minute...this is a complete kit (plane only, no radio) and it came with parts that aren't what's needed for the build? Is this just a giant static model that can be made to fly or is it a flying model kit?
Loving this one! That’s going to build up into a real stunner. Can’t wait to see the rest of the process. By the way, none of our local hardware outlets stock bent screwdrivers. :-(
This looks to me that you are assembling it not building it. I have built kits and scratch built rc plane and it starts with a pile of balsa and a draft of the plane.

Thanks David! Appreciate the feedback!
Good luck from Walvis Bay, Namibia! Love your builds. Cheers Corrie.
Thank you! AND Thanks for watching Corrie! 😎
Awesome! I was a maintainer on the A-10 in the USAF. Been flying RC since 1983 but have yet to acquire an A-10.
That is very cool Tom! The A10's are easy fliers! Big Wing! Thanks for watching!
Just AWESOME I'm learning so much watching your build videos .
Thanks for watching!
Thats really cool they were able to find a way to keep the Fowler style flaps on the model instead of hinging them. Really cool you got the maneuver position dialed in too (half way). Looking good
Thanks 😊. It’s a very slick kit!
Can’t get over how big those wheels are. Really cool how the system works 👍🏻
They are gigantic! Wait till the next video with gear installed and the Scale Bits installed on the gear. Next level cool!
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Damn! I think I’ll stick to my rubber-band-powered balsa plane.
That still sounds like fun.........BUT...... NOT as fun as a twin turbine A10!!!!😊
@@thelightersideofrc it is when you crash it!

No Kidding hey! They disappear quick!
Been waiting for the build of this sexy "Hog!"
HAHA. Thanks for watching!
Trusty bent screwdriver needs pair of googly eyes, after receiving so much love it surely have a soul by now ;)
HAHA. That made me LOL! 😂🤔🤔
This needs a paintball version of the GAU/8a
Haha. No kidding 😂😎
Great to see you found bent screwdriver I bet slightly bent screwdriver is sad to be #2
HAHA. Slightly bent screwdriver has been demoted to the tool box again!

Thanks Hank! Thanks for watching and waiting! Trusty bent screw driver…….the most useful tool around

Unfortunately with the layout it has the flight time is only about 7 min.
Hope you don’t have a Fight on your Hands with the Two Screwdriver 🪛 🪛 hope you run Candy Lights on this mean A10. Take Care and Be Safe. Thanks for the Video. 👍
HAHA. Almost Bent Screwdriver has been demoted to the depths of the tool box again.

@@thelightersideofrc Where can I get that Epoxy you are so high on. I can)t find it where I live.
Where are you located? I can buy it locally but Dreamworks in Florida also carries it.

Hi Jonathan, where we can order the wires, and the connectors
DreamworksRC
Wait a minute...this is a complete kit (plane only, no radio) and it came with parts that aren't what's needed for the build? Is this just a giant static model that can be made to fly or is it a flying model kit?
Just an airframe! Everything has to be purchased and installed.
Loving this one! That’s going to build up into a real stunner. Can’t wait to see the rest of the process. By the way, none of our local hardware outlets stock bent screwdrivers. :-(
Thanks Gryf! Keep searching 😂someone should have one!
😂
Can you do a video of assembling the 12 wire connector, or of that type of connector in general?
Good Call! Will do in the next one! Thank you.
20+ kg landing on those little screws? Good luck
Yea won't be a problem at all! Thanks for watching!😎
Hi, great job, where did you buy the wing connectors? Thanks.
I typically order them from DREAMWORKS in Florida
@@thelightersideofrc Thanks
will you make this one, fpv? Like someone else did, they made it so wherever you look with the goggles the fpv pilot character looks too in real time.
Haha. Heck no! Maybe a foamy but not this one.
🥰🥰
😊
Is it the G3 ?
It's the newest version. Not sure if that's G3 or G4.
:O
🙌
38lbs and I bet it flies "light"
Yea! Big Wings! Final weight will probably end up about 76 lbs.
This looks to me that you are assembling it not building it. I have built kits and scratch built rc plane and it starts with a pile of balsa and a draft of the plane.
Very true! Thanks for watching
Spends more time talking than working on the kit.
Thanks for watching 😊
