But but the owner of the VNSH holster company said in his cool ad that his VNSH holster is super comfortable, it fits a 100 different guns, has a button retention strap, and has no trigger guard coverage! How could that not be amazing!? 😂
I’ve commented here before but wanted to reiterate how pleased I am with Velo4, ABDO and Zero belt for my Walther PDP Compact. You guys truly have taken all 6 of the issues mentioned in the video as well as improved upon other designs to come up with what I consider to be the ultimate in comfort, concealability, security and speed of access. This is not only my EDC but also my IDPA/Action Pistol set-up. Seamless transition between the two. Only thing I add is an extra ABDO for the range days. As a retired LEO, I appreciate Jeff’s prior LE service and the professional gun toter’s approach to what works and what doesn’t when you carry for sometimes 12+ hours a day in all types of weather, non-permissive environments and getting into and out of odd positions for whatever reason. Keep up the great work and keep sending out useful info! Stay safe!
I am a Smith & Wesson guy and I have tried a lot of holster companies Top companies all the big names and even though Tenicor makes limited models for S&W they are the only holster I use. I carry a shield + in a certum3 every day on the Tenicor belt. I also put a certum3 on my enigma rig as well. I will say I like Tier 1 wedges I use them on my Tenicor holsters. But Tenicor is my preferred brand of holsters just need more love for the S&W crowd.
I 100% agree with everything said here. The only thing I would add is, don’t be afraid to add to a holster to make it better. A cheap amazon holster (cough cough, squared….) can be made so much better with a mastermind pillow or a dr scholls gel heal and most importantly DCC clips. IF tenicor makes your setup, buy that. If you have a pistol combo (light, etc) that works for you, get the cheap thing and upgrade it.

I have several of your holsters, and you guys are hands down the best I've ever used. My EDC is a Staccato C2 with 509T and TLR7-HLX in a Sagax Lux 2. Best carry setup I've ever used.
Great insight thanks I’ve experienced the quality of the holsters I have bought and have noticed the difference all around when I have bought holsters with actual better materials put into it Especially the medal clip aspect
Very interesting. Having purchased and made holsters for carry and fun, I think you are spot on. Good luck. My original rig from Blade Tech when they were a samll customer oriented company still function today as do my Milt Sparks rigs. Thanks, Doug
Jeff, always loved the way you speak and present information, and the Matrix edit feels fitting for you. Highly enjoyed this one. Well done, Morpheus 😎
I tried a bunch of holsters at the end of the day Tenicor is the best. I also brought my friends Tenicor holsters as a gift never heard any complaints thank you for your awesome product
Great video. I have enough holsters to start my own company, lol, and have had at one point over the years pretty much every big name out there. Once I found tenicor, my holster obsession finally stopped. Best by a long shot. Thankfully I use the guns you make holsters for. 😊
I bought my Tenicor IWB holster about two years ago, and could not be happier. I was using various kydex holsters from both big-name holster companies as well as small-brand holsters, and they were all for a lighter platform than the Tenicor now carries. The Tenicor was worth it - it conceals the larger platform with less printing than did the lesser simple-sleeve kydex holsters with a thinner firearm.
Recently got the velo 4, zero belt, and abdo and couldn’t be happier with the setup for someone who needs to carry all day. Please tell me you guys are planning on making an owb holster for the sigs soon. My owb needs an upgrade as well!
Just converted to your holsters for my m18, g45, and g47. Super high quality and I mention you guys when I teach. Wish you had the certum 3 for the p320 xfull :)
That the field craft survival holster? I have one for my 48 but prefer the Sagax lux. Still use the fieldcraft if I’m not using a pistol light though. You do awesome work!
Excellent video! I wish Tenicor made a holster for the Springfield HellCat Pro. My buddy has one for his PDP... I love it! And... Those are very good reasons why a quality holster cost extra $$. Kramer Leather is another example.
Love my Certum3 on my enigma! Hoping you support the Walther SF Match soon. Also hoping you add all the new S&W releasing including the new Bodyguard 2.0
I am going to purchase a holster from you guys. I value the knowledge that you guys put out and well to be honest my holster with a dinosaur on it didn’t really impress me that much.
Do you need the pistol or a blue gun of it to make a custom well fitting holster? I'm asking cause I'd like a holster or rather 2 for a pistol that is quite rare in the US of A and shipping it internationally would be a huge pain. I don't think that it is financially sane for both sides atm. I'd love to know some details on how to spot a good fitting holster if it is used in a different context besides CC. How loose should a kydex fully enclosing OWB competition holster be (besides adjustment)? Where should it contact? Is a a click a clear indicator of an 'easy way out' holster? Is it in that context good that a manufacturer tries to reduce contact besides the trigger guard? How do you rank common belt connection systems that mount on multi mount holes? (Blackhawk, G-Code, Blade-Tech, Safariland)
I absolutely love yalls holsters but i really wish you made one for the CZ P07!!! Please make one!! Please! I have your holsters for all of my others except the cz 😞
Glad to hear some affirmation of my appreciation for Crucial Concealment OWB, which I’ve been using for a few years. Stable/concealable/minimalist/uncluttered. Am fascinated by your ARX for all the same reasons. Have you had enough ARX requests for P365 x comp to meet ROI?
So…..does Tenicor make a LH holster for a Sig P320XCompact that has a locking clip release (for security), a full size metal clip that will secure the holster to the belt during an encounter?
We use DCC clips. There is not better more secure clip. It crushes the competition including those that have mechanical clamping mechanism. You'd want a VELO or CERTUM.
Would love a tenicor holster, but I've got a Hellcat Pro. I've joined the emailing list and all that, but was wondering if there was any plans or timeline for Springfield Hellcat Pro holsters?
They only make holsters based on guns widely used in the professional community (e.g., LE, Military, competition) so unfortunately the chances of that are virtually zero. Check out the Black Arch Gradient Minimalist for a Tenicor like holster for the Hellcat Pro.
Regarding the modeling, why doesn't the gun manufacturer provide the model? Surely they already have a CAD model as part of making the gun? Every handgun other than Glock struggles with aftermarket support, so I'd think that reducing R&D for the aftermarket by sharing the homework that they've already done would be an effective way to even the odds and promote accessory development.
It would be nice but it's incredibly uncommon. More close cooperation between holster manufacturers and gun manufacturers would benefit everyone immensely but as it stands holsters are sort of an after thought for most gun makers.
@@tenicorusa it sort of makes sense for a duty gun since the only holster that seemingly matters is Safariland, but it seems kinda daft for a gun that is designed and marketed for American civilian concealed carry. After renting most of the micro 9's, the one I like shooting best is the FN Reflex, but I'm simply not going to buy one because holster support is F-tier.
No company that makes a proprietary product is going to willfully hand over their cad files. They'd be giving up control of their design. Once they give to a holster company it could very easily leak. I don't work in the gun industry but I work in the automotive tooling industry(i.e. tooling to make car parts, heavy industry type shit). I signed a whole gang of non disclosure agreements when I got my job. Granted, I work directly for an OEM but its the same throughout the industry and really its the same in any engineering firm.
@@armorers_wrench companies share sensitive and proprietary material with commercial partners all the time, as needed to do business. The underlying question is why gun manufacturers don't do more to pursue partnerships with the aftermarket. One of the big selling points for the Walther PDP is that it already had decent aftermarket support at launch, purportedly due to Walther doing exactly that.
Hey uh real quick--what happens if I took both the red pill and the blue pill at the same time? Asking for a friend. It's kind of important tho so plz respond the trees are getting weird
Whole lot of straight up garbage out there being made by people who clearly don’t shoot much. Single layer kydex with a cheap azz speed lock costing close to what a safariland costs? No! Many have no place except for range toys..

It's true, mods can definitely help level up a subpar holster. Still doesn't beat something purpose built but we're obviously a little biased.

Solid combo 🤙
I wish you guys can make a holster for my PSA dagger. You have so many valid points in this video

We don't have any holsters available for the Hellcat right now.
Anything in the works for a smith and wesson compact? In the Certum 3?
Thanks for asking, no immediate plans but we would like to expand on our current offerings for the M&P compact.
Some good information here, some bad information that is just opinion. Overall decent video
Which holster do I need for the atlas eos with a HL-x light
We don't have any 2011 holsters that support the HL-X...yet.
