      Yes it was the first thing i noticed as i didn't even listen to Starmers empty rhetoric. The Cons and Starmers "so called Labour" want voting out of their constituencies and somebody who really care taking their place. This "tow the party line" must stop and replaced with passionate MP's who really care about our people and country

    Funny how Sunak wants phones banned in the classrooms, but has poor phone etiquette himself. Really poor showing. Also, his wife won’t have to pay non dom taxes until he leaves office and may possibly relocate abroad to avoid paying it. It’s a joke and his body language suggests he is done mentally.

      - ALL full time workers given the right to 24 day paid holidays.
      - One Million Pensioners lifted out of poverty.
      - 600,000 children lifted out of relative poverty.
      - Hospital waiting list sat 18 WEEKS maximum.
      - The Cleanest Rivers, Beaches, Drinking Water and Air, since the Industrial Revolution.
      And the Economy was doing much, much better under Labour

      Well he's completely unelected. It's absurd. Boris basically duped everybody. Fucked the country over then wiped his hands clean, now we're left with Sunak, who appears to be as corrupt as the day is long.
      Starmer unfortunately is a reformed communist who has found his way to power in a very clueless party. The Labour party are equally useless and corrupt and Starmer whilst a nice man, is utterly spineless; the same characteristic that was by far Boris's biggest downfall. We either vote for an alternative to the Uni party, or we end up with another 5 years of our country falling apart. Vote Reform.

    I beg to differ with Starmer on one point …. He says that Britain deserves better than this. Britain keeps voting for the Tories despite their shocking record on every aspect of British life. The British public need to take responsibility and stop voting these clowns into government. Until they do, they fully deserve this mess.

      When you look at voting percentages, the majority of people do not vote for the tories.
      But due to the First Past The Post voting system, you only need the most votes, no matter if the majority voted for other parties in a constituency.

      @@brizzleb-n2r Whilst the standard of political discourse in this country has been low for a long time, I actually found the humour used in this speech to be very good. Why, you might ask. Well, but linking a point that needs to be made to a humorous reference, people are more likely to remember parts of the speech that he made. The speech was full of substance and might well have been quite dry otherwise.

    I have always voted Conservative until now, I feel totally disgusted by this government and sickened by their policies. I have never known so many people struggling and the Conservatives find it amusing.
    I will never vote for them again.

      Totally disagree about Sunak, he is only interested in himself but I do agree with your view on Starmer even though I thought his speech was very good I can not vote for him either because of the hidden factions behind what he stands for.
      As for many people now there is no choice who to vote for and possibly for the first time I may not vote. We are in a situation very similar to the states. One thing is for certain the conservatives will not win the next election.

    Sunak had his head in his phone through most of Starmers impressive roasting of the budget and Tory mess. I’m not a big fan of Starmer to say the least but credit where it’s due. He was on form here. And all Sunak could do is look sheepishly into his phone. The coward and weak leader he is.

    Electricity & Gas tariffs going through the roof. Inceasing disabled nationl insurance payments in April but won't cover rises. I'm disabled not on so called "benefits" I paid national insurance for decades in and unfortunately had to give up work due to childhood bone disease. Its insulting to say we are on benefits a bloody disgrace we paid into a national insurance system. Makes me bloody sick!!!
    I get a national insurance payment not bloody benefits!!!!
