    Thank you for being so honest and open. There is often an air of 'you're not allowed to say bad things about the client' attitude in the job. We are human at the end of the day. If you rgo against advice, demand we get you 'free ipads' from the gov, and getting rude when we say no, then yeah.... we're not their slaves. And frankly, there's a lot of people on the waitlist and we don't need this.

    Thank you so much for sharing! I'm curious, if you work in the clinic setting, and drop a client or are dropped by a client are there any repercussions (or support) from the supervisory staff?

      Great question! In our experience, there are no repercussions. The staff wants you to be able to speak up if you’re unhappy working with a client’s family and vice versa. They understand that we can’t all be a good fit and will usually just put the client on another SLPs schedule 😊
