John is another person owed by CNC Motors, and just like Shane I wanted to lend him my platform to tell his story. He reveals some new allegations that are even more concerning including possible title loans taken out against his cars without his permission! John is currently owed approximately $800K as of this video.
On the plus side, we have now recovered 4 vehicles from CNC Motors. We will continue to fight!

Best advice anybody on RUclips ever gave on buying/selling a car. Ed Bolian: “The car, the title, and the money. Nobody ever gets all 3.”
Yup.
Exactly , I don’t understand why anyone would put a car on consignment with a dealer and give the title too, the title is your protection so none of this happens
Watching from New Zealand, this has been a fascinating few weeks this story has been unfolding
Ed bolian gives a platform to rob "my brother murdered somebody" ferretti.
Yes Jared. I get the money funds are checked then ship the car and then the title gets overnighted that day. Otherwise the title is in my safe.
How has this Clay managed to stay out of a 6 foot hole in the desert up to this point? That is the real question...
Exactly. It's not as if he screwed over one guy and the police will have a suspect. The suspect list in the end will probably be at least 100 people.
Because he can’t find a car with a clean title to drive up I-15. 🤣🤣🤣
The 3 guys I've seen interviewed so far have all been nice people. I guess he knows not to try his trick with any Tony Soprano types.
And his kids how
@@UpTheAnte1987 you ain’t kidding!! Matter of time before he screws with the wrong person. Show up at the shop and give him a choose to pay back with their car/money or his life....then Clay can choose!!
I’d be calling the FBI as this is racketeering
Exactly and why isn't the DA involved.
Once he did the forgery that’s an absolute felony so they should have been able to get law enforcement FBI etc involved. Like he said this guy may be getting ready to flee the country.
And likely wire fraud.
If Clayton is a registered Democrat the FBI won't do squat.
Question: How the hell is this Clay guy NOT sitting in jail right now?!? Seriously...there’s more than enough evidence out there to put that guy away for a long, long time.
Corruption. Muhrica!
you guys have guns in the states right? I am surprised the guy is still alive.
I’m not gonna lie- all I can think of while listening to his story is how chill he is that he’s had $800K stolen from him and he’s just chill about it. Hopefully someday I reach that level of financial “give no f’s”.... wow.... that’s level 100 moneybags status.

This series of videos has convinced me to take care of selling my car if i decide to myself. What a nightmare.
Right?
I had just consigned my car the day the first video came out. I was SHOOK. Got my money though.
My friend finally went over there yesterday morning to pick up his car from consignment. He said there were two groups of people there waiting with their issues also, and I say waiting because the place wasn’t even open and it was around 11am? They had to wait for someone to show up. He didn’t manage to get his car back with no issue. And after seeing what he witnessed yesterday, was glad he picked up his car.
Probably a good move on your friends part
Why would anyone consign their car with CNC now knowing that CNC is using their sale money on operations and taking months to pay out? Once you know their method of business it seems foolish to trust them. Smart move by your friend.
Why are people still doing business with CNC, because they don't know. I don't understand how California allows them to still be open. I think it is that simple. I was never on You Tube that much until the pandemic. If it were not for Normal Guy, I would have found out about this much later. Furthermore, people see that big multimillion dollar building, clean, many high dollar cars, professional acting sales people, and they get sucked in. Many people, I believe, like to associate with what appears to be success, it seems to be part of our culture. They judge a book buy the cover and assume they can trust the good looking successful appearing business.
@@mrmotorcarsrs2034 you are right. I only stumbled upon this story via Dan's YT channel which I had never watched before. California has failed in allowing them to stay open. FBI needs to be involved too. This kids not lying. Clay sat here on this channel and cried. WTF?!?!!!
But does he still "Own" the car? I'd do any research I could to find out if the title has a loan against it or anything else.
Why isn't the California Attorney Generals' office involved in this?
Mike, CA Dept. of Corporations and Department of Motor Vehicles should be getting involved...
Because the liberals are busy fringing on people’s second amendment RIGHTs and partying at French laundry.
Their too busy letting real criminals out of jail so they can make room for people breaking covid restrictions.
@@Martin-Young They are involved. There is a huge investigation in process.

I’m a regular dude living in LA when one day I told my friend, “ hey dude, you ever seen a pagani?” He said no, so I drove him to CNC from the valley. We arrived and we were just speechless given the fact CNC had every exotic. Weird vibe though, a lot of middle eastern people in the showroom, not being racist just weird how there were a lot of foreigners and not so much “americans”. Another weird thing was that every single car was unlocked. My friend and I jumped from a testarossa to ghosts to SLS to Mclaren. I thought it was pretty cool given the fact no other dealership ever lets you sit inside the cara just for the fu*k of it. I was 22 back then, now that friend I took to CNC is in jail for kidnap and murder, maybe those bad vibes rubbed off on him. Anyways....stay woke
Holy shit that story turned dark quick.

Here’s the lesson boys and girls , if you’re going to leave a car on consignment do not give them the title and set a time limit that your car sits there
And hide a tracking device in your car so you can find it if necessary!
I think most places are going to require that you give them the title. I could be wrong on that, but they don't want to put a car up for sale not knowing where the title is or how long its going to take to get the title if they have an interested buyer.
Someone who got fucked by CNC said they DID set a time limit for how long they wanted their car there and they ended up selling the car past the sitting point without the owner’s permission
It’s telling me don’t leave my car on consignment
Even better don’t consign your car, sell it on Bring a Trailer.
You need to sue him ASAP before he sells the building and put a claim against his building
Yep, put a lien on the building. Treasury offices tend to be much more diligent regarding real estate title transfers because they want their real estate excise tax.
Does he own it or lease it? If I was one of these poor bastards, my case would have been filed long ago. You don't treat thief's with kid gloves. They will continue to long game you.
I read in the comments on another video he already sold the building to someone and is now leasing it from them

Looking back, I am so freaking lucky. Consigned 3 of my cars with them. They asked for title and I gave them the Photocopy. When I asked for the car back, he said 2 were sold but below my asking price without my permission. Took him weeks to cut me a check only to BOUNCE and good thing for me, I am local and keep on going up there to finally get the check! Luckily they paid off even though I got burned! Dude you’re a champ for car guys everywhere. I watched this same exact scenario play out in Seattle many years ago in an Exotic Dealership my friends financed. Same story, not on such a scale, but the same. I used to hang out there almost everyday as we had as part of the dealership a sweet “hangout” room and a stage for playing music. It was fun. The main guy who ran the place was a straight up con. He used to tell customers repeatedly “I have a warehouse with 80 Porsches” he had none. Guy was a legendary liar, everything after good morning was a lie. Everything. Just insane.
Love your channel keep up the good work you are a stellar guy for using your channel to help these folks out. Cheers!
"Everything after good morning was a lie" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Man... It's really scary how common this seems to be.
Clay from CNC has managed to destroy the consignment industry.
To be fair, it seems like it needs an overhaul anyways. Too easy to have fraud and other issues.
This has been going on for years. I've seen this in the 90's
This happens all the time all over the country. In the Chicagoland area alone there have been a half dozen places that have had similar situations in the last 5-10 years
I honestly don't know why anyone would consign a car, ever, any car whether it's a $1K beater or a Laferrari. Either the dealership takes it in trade, or they buy it from you. Or...novel idea, you could sell it yourself. If it's priced right the buyer will find you.
I always assumed some type of escrow company held on to the title on consignments but I guess not
Wow this is getting very interesting please keep this up your helping people that really need this to get out.
To say the least, this dude has good taste for cars.

Yikes. Thank God he got the LaFerrari back. He'll get the SLS back. 911 and Jag kiss it gone, especially the Jag. Man if this is accurate we are talking jail time (allegedly).
Maybe not... That Jag was stolen and the bank may think they own it, but they don't.
Retaining title may not protect you. The New Jersey courts said the buyer of Rob Ferretti's Ferrari bought in good faith from a dealer so title and car had to go to buyer even though Rob did not turn over title. Will depend on State laws and court decision.
Stop with the Good Faith stuff! Not a valid sale. CNC never owned the car so they can’t sell it in good faith.

FYI, he has already sold the CNC property to an investment group which a relative of mine is part of, and he has leased it back from them. This investment group also own the adjacent properties to CNC. I know for a fact that the deal closed almost two weeks ago. My guess is he is just buying time to cash all tangible assets and move them around out of reach of all claimants. I’m not a lawyer, but I would take immediate legal action to prevent him from moving assets around and out of reach.
He's going to flee. That's why he sold his house already.

@@Luciddreamlbj if I were a betting man I’d say the local field office already has a case at least being built if not under active investigation. There is already enough for investigation with the bank fraud, but if cars were consigned from out of state, or sold to out of state buyers and these shenanigans were occurring it becomes not only bank fraud for the checks bouncing and being canceled but interstate commerce laws have been violated. In some ways the federal government treats that worse then bank fraud since there is no real insurance to cover interstate commerce loss.
