Man what a shame. That was a really good race. I almost predicted it would be contact with this same car earlier on. He was swerving around constantly and I was just waiting for him to snap a wheel with wall contact. He even made wall contact on that same lap before entering the hairpin before the back straight. Sucks.
Dorian, i have been trying to get to 2k, everytime i get close i have a bunch of bad races, as if the aggressive drivers find me. I have 2 wins and 3 top 5s at bull ring GT3 challenge, lap down cars refusing to be passed, people that have crashed re entering straight into racing line. Very frustrating. Will take years to reach your level. I have been at it since September. great race!! i should try F3
same same. I would steer you away from f3 if you are trying to get to 2k... One incident is usually the end of the race. I love F3, just not for reaching an irating goal :)
Just focus on your pace and keep grinding away. Stuff happens in road racing especially on the mid tier splits, but it still happens in top split. I just got to around 3.2k iR and I feel like a lost puppy at times being around so many alien road racers 😂 but it is a lot better than winning and dominating lower splits while having to avoid the weapons. Plus it’s more rewarding when you finish well... just focus on your race pace and race craft and it will pay off once you get into the good splits 💪🏻 keep at it!
The problem with setting irating as a goal is when ever you get close to it you add even more pressure. Try to let it come naturally my dude, if you're close to 2k right now, that means you can be even 3k, so don't stress over it.
I think is a little unfair on you to suggest it was a "sh*t happens" moment, it looks to me like Tobias just tried to close the door mid-corner and didn't leave you any room. Correct you think or is that just what hard racing is? I am at around 1.4k and slowly climbing but recently found this car and love it after watching your channel. As you say, it is a lot of fun if you get a bunch of clean drivers. I am unlikely to win but enjoy just getting a bit faster and a bit better each time so I can have some nice battles with better drivers than me.

Tobias Olsson's safety rating says a lot about him. I looked at his races and he's always either at the front or he has crashed and is pretty much last. Would not want to race him personally.
i race with him in the ARA f3 championship and although he is an aggressive driver he races very fair. Hard but fair and those things just happen. i mean look at Max and lewis
@@lennartschnebel5006 With as many penalties as Max has gotten in F1 this year, and knowing usually how lax F1 stewards are (versus other series), I wouldn't exactly say it's been clean.

You should really check out the Indy Pro 2000. Similar car to the f3 but very clean racing and friendly community. Also broadcast on thursdays

This combo is heaven on wheels, hopefully you can run a few more this week. Are you using a dual clutch to launch? I couldn't tell.

Yeah he could have done better there imo, but it is what it is, F3's are usually like that so I didn't have massive hopes going in lol
