good to have u back.....i was in a top split race last night and they were running mid 1.58's (mostly Audi's) so you are spot on. Now i know why i got killed with my wing at 5. I dont think ive ever seen a a Gt3 race at Silverstone.....always GTE......love this track.
I could predict your lap times in advance, just take my best time and remove 2 seconds. But with your excellent guide i might get the difference down to 1 second.
I dont know how you stay flat out through the last turn. In the ferrari and merc I must upshift and lift to keep from losing the rear end. Using the high downforce sprint setup. I find the silverstone circuit to be in general slippery
i only saw 2 Mercs in top split last night. I was one of them. The other guy spun out. I sucked, but i used a quick setup i made in 15" with a much lower wing at 5. I was obviously wrong.
Wasn't on purpose mate, clipped that curb cause I couldn't really see ahead. I was fuming because the whole race people were being idiots. I do owe you an apology though, so I'm sorry mate.
So I’m 4 months into GT3 racing.& I try to do setups & the biggest thing I work on is tire wear. & all I hear is tire slide. So let’s say after 18-20 laps what should tire wear be. Because here it really seems to eat them up.thank you.

Great to be back Rod, yeah 5 wing is no bueno here
Thanks a lot, this track has soo many tricky bits with the double apex wide hairpin and maggots and beckets.

Glad to hear that! Keep at it, tough track for gt3's
This is exactly the same for me.
Woooo cant wait, will practice today after work. I love fixed. I just need to edit where start/finish line is compared to when i ran ACC
Your face matched your t-shirt for most of the hotlap hahaha
LOL
Awesome guide!
watching you race silverstone through someone elses stream whos right behind you. Great race!
haha 😅

Great and fast as always! i have 2 questions, are u using a VRS setup? and, what do u think about Merc this week? will be good? kinda new in gt3 cars
he mentions it in the video, you should watch it, its good.
A few guys in my league use it. & without setup they are getting 202.7. The Mercedes’ is a great car.
Thanks! I'm using a custom set, and I haven't tried the merc at all this season so no idea I'm afraid..

Someone oughta teach ya about the inside curb to the last turn… absolutely disgraceful not to apologize for that move.

@@DoriN12 thanks man. That curbs killer if you take it too shallow. Was just gutted for the result.
@@spencervik8493 Yeah likewise dude, better luck for both of us next time I suppose..
🔥
no u!
What times are you running this season at daytona in the gt3s? Nice vid btw
Will have a guide out soon for Daytona, maybe even a setup (:
You should be chasing 1:44's for race pace

Best thing to do to prevent the rears from going bust is reduce camber and stiffen rear arb, good luck!
What do you think is the most allround GT3 car at the moment? Seeing a lot of Lambo's lately.
Lambo, Audi, Porsche - op
hope you could share the replay file, thx !
