I came across this video in my pursuit of trying to find the perfect camera bag for long hikes. It looks like you are using a traditional hiking bag instead of a camera bag for hiking which is what I do. Although I'm curious as to what hiking bag you use and how you store the camera gear inside the pack. Do you use a camera insert?

Can I replace the screw with a longer screw?
I want to add a cage to my a6500, and will need a longer screw to mount this plate
