Tbh, the joystick, dual sd and vertical flipping screen are HUGE upgrades to me, even if there is some magic sensor in the x1
Where are the threesome reviews:-)? Its new and amazing. The three stooges in the comics. All these reviews are the same and lame. Take one out for a month and then come back with an indepth review. Seriously, its warm and cosy inside…..
straps are so thin compared to other TT backpacks. hurt my shoulders. do you have issue with thin straps?
16 megs to 24 megs. And with the latest firmware, the T-2 is stunning. And I got my T-2 mint from a Florida camera shop on ebay that sells nothing but serious gear for 650. The T-2 was low on it's sale items. Lots of cinema gear. I don't have the T-1, but do have an X-M1. Focus peaking is very hard to see on it. I'd like to see a comparison of peaking between the T-1 and T-2.
Honestly, you can blow even a 12MP image up to A0 and not see the pixels. Most people have precisely zero need for 16MP, let alone 24MP.
why are your videos always greenish
hey, Greetings from the Uk . Bit late to the party, as only just discovered this great video. Lovely photo examples. I've just subscribed!
Currently debating between the X-T1 vs X-T2. I keep getting swayed towards the T2 because of the higher quality images and improved ability to capture details although I’m not planning to shoot much video, just angular street/abstract/architecture details. Any thoughts or opinions are massively appreciated!
Calculate. Good monitor 400 euro (shinobi) , good sensor 1200 (Nikon z6) , good XLR inputs 20 euro + internal ND maybe 200 = roughly 2000 must be the price of ANY video camera. That's the truth.
I don't know what your using for that comparison... but the humming on the Sennheiser line sounds like you're using a bad cable or a bad connection somewhere along the line.
T2 Pros? T1 Ams? Really?!
No photos? Thumbs down.
got an me66 for 150 bucks, woo
lol that was probably just the head of it, huh? You need the k6 power adapter to use it, which you can hardly find anywhere for less than 150
@@BroScro Nope the whole thing, second hand obviously.
Hey guys! Are you still using it?
doing a double camera harness review while sitting in a deep couch is maybe not the most informative way to film it ;) also it feels very weird to any photographer seeing someone looking through a camera with the lens cap on. you can do that, you're smart guys!!
16 pixies are on target with film.
I assisted my girlfriend do a wedding shoot last weekend. She used a big fat canon late model tank fully auto everything. I used xt1 with old Summilux legacy lens, I shot full manual everything. I didn't mean to upset her and I was not trying to compete with her, but the shots that came out of xt1 with summy lens blew her shots away. And I hope she does not read this post.
HA brilliant.
If you would have used the top canon you might have made even better pictures....
This is definitely a nice camera. I'm editing footage shot on this camera, and it's pretty good. I believe it also shoots in Slog, which I've also had the benefit of editing. But don't knock DSLR's! There are many high-level and very pro video producers who prefer DSLR's, and their footage is just as good if not better than the Sony F5. The Canon EOS R, for example, is an excellent option. So is the Blackmagic BMPCC 4k and 6k versions. And both options are much less expensive than the Sony F5. But there's certainly a place for the F5. I'd consider the Sony F5, the Canon C200/C300, or even the Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro. But most important is that you invest in yourself and know and to use whatever camera you get!
XT1 is definitely shoots 1080p 60fps
A lot of yammer, but no view of the backside of the harness.
The XT1 does shoot 1080p 60fps.
You guys lost credibility with me when you said the Xt2 is for professionals and the Xt1 for amateurs... really? But when the Xt1 came out it was for professionals too?? really dudes?
Totally agree. Both cameras are equally suited to pro usage. I turned off at that point.
I just want to tell you that I mostly prefer xt1 in terms of color rendering, and the only major improvement over xt1 is auto focus, and in firmware update, xt1 has really gotten a lot of improvement.
And the higher and much lower shutter speeds. And dual slots. And vertical screen articulation.
This is video online school so a lens review centered around filmmaking would be expected and helpful.
Sir me apka channel buy karna chata hu
why would you have so many speed ramps when shooting 1080 60fps - it looks very disjointed and seems to lack any sort of continuity, despite this, the footage does look very nice and sharp with good tonal range given you are using a simple kit lens
So you’re telling us that the hood is used to create lens flares? FKN lame
When they downgrade the X-T1 as an amateur camera that tells me right away they are just being shills to get affiliate sales.
X-T2 is an amateur camera now too... X-T3 is out.
@@quikee9195X-T3 is an amateur camera now too... X-T4 is out.
Yes, and I have X-T4 now.. the very professional camera :)
All those cameras are for babies; a real pro uses an X-T5. ;)
If you want an even better microphone than these two, the “industry standard” Sennheiser MKH 416 is an obvious choice. But sadly it's too expensive for my purse.
This modular series is for a different market. Entry level film work and field recording for those who need full audio recording kits for about 2500 euro. There is no point in getting a single pattern and a single preamp in such a modular system. In Europe you can get 1xME62 1xME64 2xME65 1xME66 1xME67 and 2xK6 preamps for about 1200 euro total. That's a lot of flexibility for recording all kinds of sounds, since you can use two mics at a time, do voice over without a studio with two ME65 mics, record ambience and dialogue, do foley and sound effects with two mic patterns and two distances, etc. The sound quality is good enough for any level of work. I can't think of another way to get this kind of flexibility at that price. The kit would still be missing a XY stereo mic such as the Rode NT4. MKH416 is a mid range mic, so it's more rugged and will last longer, but in terms of pattern and noise it's not really better. Its a good old design and a good solution if you only need a boom mic. You can upgrade from it without losing serious money. If money is no object, one would get the MKH 80X0 series or the MKH X0 series.
Okay guys, time for your x-t3 review!! :)
“Optical image stabilization , Fuji calls it OIS I don’t know what it stands for” lmao!!! Really !?
The Xt2 has a better different flap thing that covers the input leads on the side,. The old one on the XT1 was inclined to bulge and loosen a bit over time. Also the focus assist button is no longer on the XT2. The XT2 is also heavier.
90mm is 105? Seriously??
Man that was some horrible "review" lol
Theres like semi used xt1s on Ebay for 385... I think I'm buying one
can U try to expalin to me, whats the point, at all ! with talking about a lense . If you can show , how this works , I think you shold just remove this vedeo, cos Ur waisting peoples time !
Sorry, but front-heavy / back-heavy is defenitely something to consider, but not a several thousand dollar issue. Moreover, you can always add weight wherever you want, but you can't subtract/chop a part of an f5 !!
How do you see raw image from f5 compared to an fs700 raw? Seems like Sony is putting the same super35 cmos to all these cameras. What do you think?
where are the SAMPLES ...???
Hi there, i have an option of getting the xt1 w 16mm 1.4 or xpro2 body only for same price $1100 which is better for general photography? This will be my first mirrorless and first ever fuji. Thank you
What up what up? Are you kidding? I stopped the video. You're a couple of White guys. Act like it.
Funny!
If you have problems falling asleep just watch this video. It contains no information we did not already know. You'll be asleep within seconds.
Why do these moronic camera comparison videos never tell us which one is better? Just get to the point. Obviously the cameras are not the same. We dont need you to tell us that. Just tell us which one is better or at least tell us something we dont know. This video is moronic. No information. Two morons just yaking away on the specs which are readily available on the Sony Website. God are these guys boring. I would never hire boring guys like these to make any sort of original video.
I have an xt1, it's an enthusiasts camera, not a pro cam, only 1 sd card slot which holds it back
Thanks! I made my final decision thanks to this video, will get mine in two days :)
put the lee holder on the camera...compose your shot...zoom in w/ the magnifier button for sharp focus...slide on the filter & take the picture. it's easy, boys. you talk too much. there is not need to take off the lee holder to focus the shot.
might as well just get an external recorder like Shogun or an Odyssey and record to that in ProRes or DNxHD or whatever your heart desires. Cheaper than getting the F5.
Good review but quick tip keep your eyes on who’s talking no need to keep looking At your camera very distracting to the viewer and he person talking it’s like your not paying attention
what about a roller case for mirrorless.. think tank security / international V3.0 any good?
"school" :DD you guys dont know what you are talking about. This was the worst "review" ever:D
Guys you didn't even mention one of the most important things, which is that both cameras have the same sensor. The processing behind it changes, making it two different cameras.
That's not what I'm saying. They do mention that it's the same sensor size, I'm talking about the fact that it's the same chip in both of those, they don't mention that.
