It’s nostalgic to see the VHS tapes on the shelves, but when you watch one you’ll wonder how we ever thought that picture and sound quality were so good.
I miss blockbuster that was something I always looked forward to going every Friday after school to get our movies for the weekend with my grandparents and also getting McDonald’s before going to blockbuster for dinner and getting to go to the play place great childhood memories
Here's a reccomendation for a visit in that state when you get the time to: All-Star Pizzaria in Sandy, UT. It's a former Phase 3 CEC that still has many elements from that time, such as the showroom walls, artifact shelves, carpet, booths, and games!
You really gotta congratulate Blockbuster for keeping the last store alive. Of course there’s this unique experience, but Bend, OR is in the middle of nowhere, so if it hadn’t been for her, Blockbuster would be long gone like you said. Also, hope this comes to Pinball Expo in Schaumburg, IL in a couple weeks.
What a cool exhibit to have at a Con! My Dad used to take me and my Siblings there every week to rent something out as a family. They even had video game rentals!
Yeah, I worked at 1 during college in Kentucky until it closed. It's definitely a slice of americana that has mostly died away, and it was very cool to see as an exhibit at a comic convention.
Next time you are in Salt Lake City, take a trip south to Provo and Moon’s Rare Books (call ahead and hopefully Mr. Moon will be there to give you a personal tour). He was at the FanX convention.
Hey chris tmr im going to the tupelo location Chuck E. Cheese’s again with my nana for a homeschool field trip and ill tell you if they have 2.0 or not when i go
Thank you for doing this I think the price was too much for what it was and I appreciate that you did it thank you when I saw they were charging I was kinda disappointed
What a awesome place to explore with all these vhs and dvd movies from the past.
