I've heard so many stars who have been cancelled say they are far more grounded and happier than if they'd stayed in the "cliques" of Hollywood. Tells you how poisonous that atmosphere must be. And you know that when the strikes are over they'll be cut-throat going after the roles available. The studios may have been "woke", but they were asleep at the wheel when it came to the entertainment their customers wanted!

I'm going to give a lose history lesson on this con. Dan Farr (founder on the Salt Lake comic con) for like 10 years was trying to get a con here in Utah. Investors said that there was no market and utah didn't have the population to support a comic con. Dan did it anyways. The first convention center in town was sold out in 72 hours, so they relocated to the current location. That first year three salt lake comic con was the 3rd largest con in the nation for at least a while (I'm not sure of it all hold this record) it held the largest first year for a comic con. Fast forward a few years, Dan Farr went to San Diego comic con in the Salt Lake comic con car which started the law suits. California is going to California and the salt lake comic con ended. At this point there are 2 cons going on in Utah salt lake comic con (fall) and fanx (spring). They decided (i think it was a result to the court ruling) to go down to one con calling it fanx.
