    I was excited watching your excitement for fishing the canyon. I have a bad habit of only fishing a few sections but they tend to hold a better quality. The further go you up the canyon the better the average is but of course the more people there are. I rarely use an indicator there. They take it n go! They'll also follow you when you're walking through the river. One of my all time favorite trout streams. Nice fishies!

    just keep that line under your finger pulled up to the cork so you can have better hooksets and you will feel more because there is a lot less slack in the line! Great vid

    Just finished watching this. The fish are jumpers there, I have lost multiple 20 inch browns and bows after they go airborne!

      It’s crazy it also seems to be a product of euronymphing

    Know what they call "Euro-Nymphing", in Europe?--Nymphing. Looks like you have the knack for it. Good work. Keep it clean.

    I love 11 mile. Only have been twice this winter. My second time it was 11 degrees! I can relate to the stupid piece of crap line. Whenever a fish gets away and I am close to getting it I say “ ah, you turd”.

    It doesn’t matter how crowded the river is theres always open spots at that river even in the last 3 miles. For the most part people are friendly.

    Dude, you should check out Troutbitten read his articles on the mono rig. Absolutely awesome tite-line method

    So how do you set up your rig? The couple of times I've done it, felt that my rig was either way to short of way to long, and that I wasn't getting down there fast enough.

    So when you’re euro nymphing you wanna position your rod like your almost dragging it down stream ?

    • @FlyCastingColorado
      @FlyCastingColorado  4 года назад +1

      Nick Putz exactly not dragging but you want to be tight to the flies so you can feel them as they roll downstream
