If anyone’s wondering what Henry meant by calling Boombayah Neapolitan, it’s a classical music theory term used to describe major flat II chords, always in first inversion. He says that the air horn/synth background melody sounded like Neapolitan chords. However, after listening to Boombayah for a second time, Lindsey and Davis say they think this piece is in the Phrygian mode

i like how they actually care about the music. most react channels just use kpop videos to get views and don't actually care about the artists but they actually listen to the music and care. idk it just makes me happy, it makes it seem less like they're using them for subscribers.

I love and appreciate that about this whole kmoments thing 👌🎶 plus they're like music students who can dissect and appreciate the music even though they couldn't understand the lyrics.. well.. maybe music does transcend language barriers.. I mean cmon, kpop has blown up and reached the west..

As someone who has been around classical musicians myself, I find that these people are very open minded. Sometimes when people study music, they get so bogged down with the analytical side that they forget music is an art. You wouldn't believe how many times I've heard, "That's not music" or "That's not how musics supposed to be done."

i think compared to their older videos they’ve improved a lot in terms of that. previously they’re similar to those typical pretentious jazz/classical players who think that jazz is above all else. it’s nice to see them improve

One of the best, maybe THE best, reaction videos for kpop videos. These people are smart, actually paying attention, and not focusing mostly on trying to be ironic and cynical for comic effect. I want to throw a lamp every time some hipster says "what is going on!!!!???" while watching a music video. I'd much rather hear guy say "Brahms" and hmmm chord progressions.

Classical musicians react is my favorite reaction "series". Most reaction videos I feel like only focus on the visuals of the *music* video and its honestly getting really boring, but these people aCtuAlLY comment on the music and have something intelligent and interesting to say. Keep it up!

I really enjoy this series thank you so much for this! I really like the main focus being the music, it's something that people forget in today's kpop.
Next time could they react to SEVENTEEN, but maybe even the underrated songs which are very concentrated on the musical aspect
