It's so amazing to see how all this hard work has paid off. It's so fun to see your roots of bmx too! You're an inspiration to literally millions now. Congratulations! You deserve it.
Matt what i done was fit the part you painted to the electronic spoiler and disconnected the electronic spoiler and its a perfect fit, i binned the bottom part of the spoiler, take car above 75 light on dash goes out when you drive below that speed.
Matty, Matty, that eBay spolier really cheapened the Audi TT experience…looking rather « ricey » ( allusion to cheap bolt-on mods on Honda Civics and Acura Integras). Keep up the good work and best of luck. I had to watch your previous projects so that I can better appreciate your current undertakings. Great job mate. Greetings from Decatur, Georgia
Hey just bought a tts and wondering about retrofitting the wing, how did it work out for you? did you get the flush sitting fixed, or did you replace it with an original? its looks fine now from the looks of the later videos.. massive thanks car looks great btw. is that rs grill original too?
Matt, what silicon did you use to stop the leaking? I’ve bought a non fibreglass one that bolts on (test fitted it & now it’s being sprayed) and some 3M tape but not sure it will be enough.
Hey Mat! I need your help, or anyone elses help. How did you remove the original spoiler that was on the tt? Do I need to remove the interior boot lining trim in order to do this? If so how do I remove the trim? Is it just clios or are there bolts too? Please help... :(
Yo man, Yeah remove the boot trim its just on clips from what i remember, then you should be able to see the underside of the spoiler there is quiet a few 10mm nuts to undo, then just disconnect the electrical connections then remove it from the top.
I'm having a real issue with the removal the boot lining trim and I've look all over the internet to find how to do it but no luck. How did you find out how to take it off and is there a helpful link I could use ?
So cool to watch these early vids and see how far you have come and how your confidence has grown! Well done man! 😀👏

Did you drill into the spoiler then bolt the painted part into the actual factory spoiler. I was thinking about it
@@owenboggis2457 yes the top part off spoiler is bolted onto factory spoiler.
@@geewiltshier2251 how much was yours
@@owenboggis2457 at the time £159 off ebay, its best to bolt on electronic spoiler as if you watch matts video water 💧 leak in his boot.
@@geewiltshier2251 do you have a link?
Nice go pro mount 😂 2:53

Hi Mat, nice spoiler and nice TT. Good video and regards from Spain 👍🏼❗️
Go on mat. i wish you success in your field
Thanks for this. I was going to buy one, but not anymore.
haha glad you resisted!
The MK1 is quite a death machine without a wing.
I bought a carbon fiber rear spoiler off EBay for my R8. Total junk. Never again. Shipping it back! Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the heads up! Not buying a fibre glass one for mine.Looks the The part.Could try some liquid nails to push that end down flush mate.
Got one coming from AliExpress coming. Hoping won't be the same issue. Unless I look into drilling into original like some of these comments suggest
How did that go? If well, please provide link please. Thanks.
You might try pulling the fuse in this situation for the wing motor to turn off the dash light.
Bro, can you do a tutorial for spoiler removal?

That spoiler looks like a wing 👍
How did you take the bumper off
Could you unmount it from the baseplate supplied, get another one from a breaker and install it? Is that possible with this spoiler?
hey matt i'm looking for a wing for my a5 do you know where i can find one
Man, that spoiler looks shite
Good man for testing it out, I’ll look my closely when buying one of eBay
Trust me! waste of time 😂
Checkout the KITT Tuning spoiler from Europe, they seem to be plastic instead of fibreshiteglass 😂
Terry onions and the wasps Did you ever fit the KITT spoiler? Was the fitment better?
How do you manage the controls issues when the original spoiler is supposed to lift on auto?
Just disable it with vcds
Great vid, Mat. Would you be willing to sell the motor for the stock spoiler by any chance, mate?
Good information
Whats the track name on the end
Nice PSA
