    Great great video. Do you know how much weight you can load on the roof ? How much can the truck hold static. Also. Is leaking water not a problem and is the weather stripping holding now that it’s cut. Also. How many bolt holes in one side?

      I think it's the same as OEM which is 150 lbs static. no leaks, weather stripping is still there. 5 bolts on one side. thanks for watching and supporting the channel!

    Great video like always! Question for you, is there anything out there that can be done to prevent theft of the roof rack? lock nuts or something?

      @KFloTacoma  4 года назад +1

      That's an interesting question. They do make security bolts that you can probably match and swap w the original bolts

      @@KFloTacoma You wouldn't happen to know the name or web link?

      Unfortunately, i don't have that information handy. I would recommend getting a thread gauge and then just going to McMaster or Amazon and searching "security bolts" with the proper spec

    I’ve read that the rack causes wind noise as you are on the freeway. Have you experienced this once you’re moving fast?

      Hey Saul, the wind noise is just as much as having a regular roof rack. Its really not bothersome. I don't really even notice it

    Could you please put up the measurements of how high the rack sits at the three mounting points. TIA.

    It looks like the weather striping is touching the truck and will wear the paint off.

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  5 лет назад

      Its a bulb weather stripping that's not compressed. Additionally' There's a big air gap in the bulb after assembly which makes that a non issue.

      @@KFloTacoma If something is touching your paint and it vibrates as you drive, it's going to wear on the paint.
