the magic of vibrations :)
Mine just went on my 2003 UK 760Li. Amazing timing mate
By the way, I was quoted £230 for a new bmw fan clutch by a specialist. Does that sound excessive?
@@honestrunescaper yes
Probably about right👍🏻
Great. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 👍🎄
Same to you Kevin!
Holy crap this actually works flawlessly. I was like ... no way... thata faked... nope. I can not believe it seriously just saved me hours of bs

You're welcome!

Nice one George 👍
Thanks 👍
I don’t own a BMW but great video🙌
Cheers mate!
What do you do if the drive belt has broken, how do yu lock up the pulley
You can still do it but may be more difficult👍🏻
ok IO guess someone must have changed a broken fan belt?
Very nice 👌
Another useful video man!
Thanks Jack!

What size was the wrench?
32mm
@@GeorgeAusters is that for all fan clutches?
@@Sip28 No. Mine is 36mm
Wait
How is it holding itself and not spinning?
The impact shock affect
It.s workkk😂😂❤❤❤
Of course it does👍🏻
my man!
Bmw engineer got a heart attack watching this video.
😂
😂 indeed
Why won’t work for me
wrench! you mean spanner haha good vids tho pal
Wrench is what people know worldwide, seems only British know what a spanner is👍🏻
same action as an air hammer ;)
Yep pretty much!
@@GeorgeAusters you ever heard of the one to pop the track rod end out of the hub? im surprised i know a lot of people dont even know that one

What happens if you turn the fan the opposite way without taking it off?
It will just turn the waterpump
@@mvc2177 May as well while you're in there
didn’t work for me, tried using some penetrant and had no luck
bad ass!
🙌🏼
Doesnt work on a wrangler
This technique does not work on a 2002 dodge ram 1500
Did you leave the belt on?
@@GeorgeAusters yes the belt is on but it appears I'm going to have remove it
@@GeorgeAusters do you have to take the belt off?
@@ravertosh it's easier if you leave the belt on
Anti clockwise haha
Didn't work. Just wedge a large flat blade screwdriver on the waterpump hub between hub and nut instead.
It should have worked.
Didnt work on the e250. Thanks anyway
It should work on all cars
Cool man, but I bet U $1.55 that U still couldn't get that fan (& clutch)out without removing most of the other junk that is in front of it first.
it's a fan clutch not clutch fan
The fan is a “clutch type fan” but the clutch is a “fan clutch”. Hope that helps!
Y
Easy to do, you already busted it loose on a new car, hand tightened everything, then shot video of " easily" removing it. What a joke Mr. clickbait.
Lol what? This car is 20 years old!
