Honestly some of the best jams I've heard in a long long time! Both Pete and Captain sound absolutely inspired! Could actually feel the goosebumps Pete was talking about, incredible tones, both clean and fuzzed. This is why I subscribed all those years ago....
I’m not someone who usually comment things because I watch on my tv, but this time i needed to get my phone and say something… this must be one of my favorite videos from this channel, if not my favorite. Pete sounds so inspired by this guitars and he sounded great all video. I really wanted to be in Lee’s place, because this in the room must have been amazing. Wish a lot of success to Carlos and to everyone at Andertons. Love from 🇧🇷
Holy crap Pete😱 you can absolutely tell when you are completely inspired by an instrument! You cannot put a price tag on inspiration, freaking epic man. Huge fan!!!
lee seems to have imroved GREATLY since pete has been in the equation. as someone who has always taken huge inspiration from my talented friends, this makes me smile to see
Man. I want a Pete in my life to teach me the ways of the guitar like he’s done for the captain. While Pete is mesmerizing as always, the captain was also stellar.
Pete should do exactly what Ariel Posen did and record a solo album of just him playing alone on a baritone. Captain should buy him that yellow one for the recording. 😉
Amazing guitars, with a price tag to match..! I wish... BUT I'm currently, greatly loving my Surf Green Squier Cabronita Baritone after seeing it on this fine channel.
Just walked out from the Alderton's Guildford shop with a Jackson SLA6 baritone yesterday. The crew was amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. With my wife, we had a great time visiting your shop and truly that was an extraordinary experience. A bit downer that the guitar I've purchased was not flawlessly set up, but that is an easy fix. Just wanted to say thank you on this platform too.
Another Baritone that Lee didn't mention is the Reverend Descent. It has a tone control that allows you to roll off bass, a super helpful with the baritone tuning. It's also extremely comfortable to play. I have a Reverend Descent and I chose it after having played about 10-15 new and vintage baritones. It sits at a higher price range than the Squires or Chapman's, but it's a fantastic instrument.
so glad people are finally seeing the light and realizing what fun extended scale is. sure, i use mine for metal, but they shine in so many applications
We know Pete is a GOAT player. These jams bring the heat! Pete repeated a couple of phrases The Captain played … that’s a great compliment and testament to the quality of Lee’s chops. Btw, P90s!! Yes!!
Wow I have never been more inspired to explore and check out buying a baritone guitar. Seriously the Castedosa Concher looks and sounds amazing..... this is a guitar craft and innovation at its finest. I loved Pete's and Lee's playing on this video, especially Pete's jazz inspired comping and noodling - In the sounds and words of Jimmy Van Heusen and Eddie DeLange....Darn That Dream .....I'm hooked and fear I cannot escape the baritone!
Back in 1988 I lived in Los Angeles for 3 months. In April I came back to London, circumstances conspired against me and I never got back to LA. That sound brings it all back. So beach/sunshine/California. Every guitarist should have a baritone guitar in their lives
A regular scale length would negate the point of a baritone. The longer length allows you to tune down 4 or 5 steps and still keep string tension acceptable.
@@stuartgreenshields5591 well that's what i am interested in. Guitars that are not Baritones 😂 Also I'm sure he doesn't want to limit his production to Baritone guitars only.
I remember seeing the Press Release about him leaving fender, and then about him starting a company with baritone as his first product. And i thought, "Why?" But, i subsquently found myself interested in baritones-just incidentally, and now this video. Wow, they sound fantastic. That intro thing with Pete and the slide-incredible. Wayyyy way out of the range i'd be willing to spend on a 'niche' instrument, but... i get it now. [Except for the built-in fuzz circuit.]
Watching grown men fall in love 😍- after watching this and your other baritone videos - I am placing my order.. (unfortunately not for one of these but the Squier paranormal) well played guys - I'm fully inspired 🤩
I'm feeling less bummed about not ordering my Carlos VI prior to his departure. Amazing grooves which shall be taking up a large portion of my day today.
piggin eck man i can feel the music scratching its way out of those babies! if some guitars have songs inside them then these have whole genres! they are beautiful! Carlos is the frickin Grand Magus of guitar builders! woohoo to Captain Fuzzballs too!! awesome guys!
That was flippin awesome!! I have been eyeing one of the Gretsch baritones for some time now....might just have to go for it now. Wish I could afford one of these though...jeez loueeze!
Captain Lee, It's getting later in the year. Pete does great work. I suggest Anderton's gives him that Burnt Marshmallow for a Halloween or Christmas bonus.
I think a lot of singers should try baritones because I noticed that I sound much better against a baritone than a standard tuned guitar. My voice has a bit of an in-between range that I have trouble fitting in with the parts I usually play on guitar. But with the baritone it's like all the frequencies are out of the way of my voice and they can actually complement each other. And I can relax my voice and go a bit lower in my range without feeling like there's no support from a standard tuned guitar. I bet there are many much more talented singers in similar tonal situations who would benefit from trying a baritone. The final issue is how it works in a band with a bass player and other guitars. I think baritone would benefit from unusual instrument combinations. The only downside is lack of the upper range for typical lead work, but maybe just use a Whammy if you need to!
Damn boys. Killer tones and playing. I've been considering diving into the baritone world since the squier double bound telecasters launched, but this might seal the deal. Seems to open up a whole new vibe.
Look at their little faces! The reactions show just how good these inspirational tone machines are. You can watch the cogs in Pete's mobile smut machine trying to figure out how to tell "her indoors" that they need to drop 6k on another guitar...
The necks and Head stock remind me of the Hofner ‘strat - style ‘ 6 string guitars from back in the mid 60’s ( No imitation Crocodile skin on the body though )
A few well-known players need to make some compelling sounds with it. Because music is a copycat industry. Omg I love that built in fuzz and octave... does all of them come with that? Like ot in the one with humbuckers? That Lee is playing... hmm I've noticed alot of baritone guitars come with p90 pick-ups. Ha never mind the captain just answered my question 😄
The higher notes of the Fuzz circuit sound like Jack White on Icky Thump. Can you explain to me what sound I’m hearing and how to get a mortal’s guitar to sound like that?
Yupp, baritones are great for cleans. But 27" is not enough gents. 30" with relatively thin strings, say 12-62, tuned Bstandard and with alnicoP90 in the neck can literally hypnotise you. Nice playing btw. And hats off to the builder, pure perfection!
I would love a solo album from Pete. No drums, minimal production, just Pete being Pete.
I 💯 agree with this. Like Ariel Posen’a Mile End!! Single take, recorded to tape.
@@dadtimejamtime all of this!
I know it has drums, but the jam tracks on their bandcamp page are made by Pete. No solos but its what we get for now.
Yes pete! Go!

I would absolutely love an entire album of this.
ive now watched the episode three times just for the jams sweet sweet feels

I'm with The Captain on this one. Some of Pete's best playing has come in that video or when he has a baritone in his hands. AMAZING jams in this one.

The quality and darkness inthis is surreal it’s hypnotic and cinematic all at once
Pete's anxiety throughout the whole video is that of a married man trying to figure out how to explain to his wife that he just bought a new guitar.
100%
🤣🤣
@@angellovesjazz It's also possible that I was just projecting my own angst and circumstance onto him.
What new guitar? Oh that all thing? It’s years old… I mean look at it, no, no, no not new at all darling…
Suddenly reliced guitars make sense...
Gotdamn @12:26 Pete took us to church!! BEAUTIFUL!! I've just found my dream guitar...only in my dreams lol LOVE IT!!

There is one great thing about the videos you guys do. They always make me pick up one of my guitars and play.
That closing jam. Magical. Thank you guys. It was truly sublime.
That back and forth doom fuzz and bluesy licks is just insane. Holy crap Pete!
That fuzz circuit is so effin' cool I want one in every single one of my guitars now. Carlos you are a genius.
Just like Rev's post, I would love to hear The Captain play a full solo. He has a great touch and ear.
LEE, LET US HAVE IT!!

That yellow P90 guitar is magic. Both Pete and Lee were chanelling energies from another realm when playing it.
We know Pete is a GOAT player. These jams bring the heat!

If there was an Oscar given for Best RUclips Video in the Retail Guitar Category.... this video should win!

Really did enjoy that first jam Monsieur Capitaine and Monsieur Pete. Really inspired and soulful. Really nice guitars as well.

Keep coming back to these video for that intro loop.
Amazingly musical.
Pete's playing on these guitars legitimately gave me Dan Steinhardt listening to Andy Timmons levels of emotion.
Get one Pete.
Totally agree!
Hmm the purple one is "out of stock" now 😅
My fave intro. Nice work guys. Love the baritone content over the years keep it up🎉
Fabulous sound. I enjoy all Anderton’s videos but this one is particularly good.
Its wicked! Never thought about a bariton guitar, I had to get 65 years old and now I am inspired. Thanks for the tones.
The sounds and playing in this video are nothing short of stunning. Well done gentleman!
I love that most of this video was Pete ignoring everything Lee was saying and just wanting to keep play. And I’m here for it! 😂😂
Man those baritones sound excellent and the green is to die for.
Still come back once in a while to listen to that intro jam.
Same here.
That was epic. Best playing by Lee EVER!! Great episode guys. Now I want a Baritone. lol.
Gorgeous guitars. Love everything about them. Can we see some with a regular scale length? Not that i can afford anything that high end!
I think they are designed after the Fender Marauder body shape so pretty rare or expensive in regular scale 😅

Ah, sorry. I misinterpreted what you wrote. Yeah I'm not sure about baritones either.
He just came out with the Mariana - a Tele looking (kinda) guitar with regular 25.5 scale length
Guys that intro jam was SICK! keep up the great work!
I love it when Pete gets excited about a piece of gear.
That's some of the best, and most enjoyable, playing I've heard from either of you. And that's saying a lot! Nice one boys!

I'm late to this, but I still need to comment: These are the sweetest guitars and the greatest playing I've seen/heard as part of an Andertons video.
Cap’s playing in this is really nice, but damn, between this and the Cabronita baritone video the other day, Pete is taking us to CHURCH.
Lee your jamming with that baritone are spot on mate! They suit you!
Dream guitar right here. This guitar sounds unbelievably good with the P90s
This is most definitely a take my money video! Pete's playing is sublime!
Really glad that yellow one sold before i could buy it. Was mentally planning what to sell to justify the cost. So lovely.
Hands down, best intro jam yet. Killer playing!
Castedosa spoke without moving a muscle, dude is a craftsman
That could be the best opening jam of all you’ve done. These demos and the Chris Tapp and Ariel ones are crazy musical
This is one of the best feelings you guys have put out so awesome.
So would this be considered the viola/ cello of guitars
Absolutely WOW! The next wave is here!

Is the Mole to do with Mexican chocolate based Mole sauce?
Pete at 2:26 what is that scale/ thing you played!!
Love everything aesthetically about these guitars. Wish I could play one. As a luthier, I wish I could work at Fender in the custom shop .
You boys killed it here!!! God damn 🙌🏽
Lee and Pete please do more videos on Kramer guitars! Barettas and 84s!

Great stuff, as always! Thanks guys
im giving a thumbs up simply from the captains second round from the beginning
Checked the price and realised I was watching the Anderton's Premium channel.
its actually the porn channel.

So many awesome tones from one guitar. Amazing
The first one Pete played looks outstanding. Very cool
That DOOM fuzz sound is soooo gooooood 🤤

Ok….I feel like I was just introduced to a guitar for the first time all over again.
great playing, pete. i thought you were going to cry.
Cheese n onion, the tone from the p90 one is unreal 😳
I love the way the captain looks at Pete in awe! Just like the rest of us.....
I wish Julian Lage would pick one of these up for an album.

very cool indeed, sound great too.
