You will ascend to the heavens and can use headstompers to wipe out pretty much the entire map. In chaos, though, I can imagine not taking it to avoid summoning instant death.
the first time I tried chaos I didn't understand that it was self damaging as well and thought I'd be fine if I was solo, a can of gasoline and a will o' the wisp proved other wise after a close engagement
