Beginnings of a Flowering Cherry Bonsai From Nursery Stock May 2020

- Back in March I picked up a lovely flowering Cherry Prunus Incisa from a local supermarket for £5. I posted a picture on the community tab. Being a Stone fruit it is susceptible to Peach Leaf Curl, a fungal disease mostly active during winter months, so did not work on it immediately. Advice for all stone fruit is that they should only be pruned when in full leaf and actively growing so that they will heal any wounds before spores for the disease can infect the tree. Now is a good time to work on the tree though I didn't want to completely bare root the tree at the moment.

Probably not. He's usually not a fan of the camera. I think he is a little jealous of it as I'm not giving him enough attention when I'm filming. He's still very puppy like despite being 6 years old. Stay safe.
Do they like full sun?
They love full sun but don't let the rootball dry out. If you find they are drying quicker than you can water you may need to place them where they will get shade part of the day. Stay safe
