Hey just a quick edit for newer players, I know Volkin explained it very well how ever some people may not know the actual importance of red chests from Elite enemies, and brown chests from common enemies. Now as he stated early on, all you really want to focus on is doing as many fights as you can to maximize your Labyrinth tokens (to buy heroes from the store and loot in general that require you to have Labyrinth tokens), but eventually (out of no where also) the lab starts getting pretty difficult. So you want to focus on doing choosing the red chests battles. You can also look ahead at some of the blocks (the only ones that appear when you pprogress are battles) and see what they have to offer. For example if a block like 6 spaces away might have Lucious, Brutus, Shemira, Nemora Etc. If you have say a weak link or say they can give you a faction bonus etc., basically just really make your team better, I'd grab it once things get difficult. Not to many though because the bonuses from the chests are the main things that will help you through the lab. Also with your Duras tears, imo you should use all of your heros before using a tear because it revives all your dead heros, and restores any injured ones to max hp. Keep in mind, if the other team has a healer and can increase the enemies health over the dmg you have already dealt, so dont fight with a squad that allows them to regain any before you use a tear. I've found this useful, my main acc was lacking an above average tank. Was using Golas and Hogan in front of Saveus, Rosaline, and Belinda lol. So the addition of Brutus and Lucious really amped things up, especially since they come at a high lvl and ascended. Sorry about the rant again Volkin lol.

This is so funny. I just figured out about leveling only 5 heroes this morning. I've reset 4 heroes so far and those reclaimed resources have really helped leveling my top 5. Gotten another 30 levels across all my other characters in the Resonating Crystal. Great advice!

Here's my experience and thinking: I sacrificed heroes that weren't helpful for me in the near future to boost my main teams through campaign,tower,arena and labyrinth. I have no regrets because when my main teams are already maxed out or 5stars I would then sacrifice their copies for others in the far future. Like a give and take relationship. There is an end but you can choose many paths to get there. I am lvl143 currently at chapter 23. Just logging in to get some essences and do dailies/weeklies. Heroes you should never sacrifice: Shemira, Rosaline,Lucius,Brutus,Khasos,Lyca,Nemora,Tasi,Nara, Fawkes,Estrilda,Belinda,Rowan,Athalia,The Twins. My opinion. XD
Bruh I had that same leveling problem until I saw this. I progressed so much smoother after prioritizing my top heroes. I even learned some pairings that synergize so thanks for this, Volkin!
Hehehe stright up ghee, I was hard guilty for doing this when I first started and wasnt aware of the crazy shit drop rates. I'm lv127 and full FTP and wasted all my graveborn and maulers early game to do up my shemira n brutus completely, and since like level 89 I have only had 1 mauler past legend plus lol. Keep it up dude awesome info on the game! Will help the new FTP players!
I made that mistake with skreg and fawkes when I first started playing and I deeply regretted this especially for fawkes 😭 I have got legendary + of fawkes now but it took time. You gave some really useful tips that I'd recommend to new players! I've played afk for ~4yrs now and wish I knew this info when I first played but now I basically do this all by habit 😂
jean valarezo Not rly, its situation based, legendary+ shemira doesnt do enough damage, u need mythic at least to put her in front line, its situation based in the game and shemira can be obtained for free, worst case for him he just need to play the game a little bit longer till he has enough card for mythic shemira
This is so stupid. That are 4 shemira's omg. With another 4 you could have ascended her. Shemira at 240 can solo every chapter until 22. Also in end game, you're gonna have regrets a lot. Building 3/4 teams with Faction bonuses is really important.
The tip on the arcane labyrinth really helped me. Do as many spaces without pulling cards or using the wells or the resurrection. Also picking the red chest over the brown. Went from using two duras tears to barely losing any heroes. Awesome tip thanks
Tbh I've fed the odd 1 elite + to get another to legendary sometimes you have to heroes will come around again. An if money is a problem an you can't spend alot of money it has to be done.
IMO the best thing in the store for early game is to purchase all the blues you can as fast as you can. They make for great feed later on. Around the time you unlock the faction towers is when I’d recommend saving up for higher tier heroes. That way right when you get them you can head to the ascension chamber and gain massive progress in a short time

Hi Volkin don't forget that Mythic weapons for tanks have a % of physical resistance wich can go up to 18%, this bonus only appears for Legendary+ and Mythic Weapons, wich I think is worth going for, It was the first item I bought after I finished with my main DPS dealer.
I am still to this day making the leveling mistake with the Resonating Crystal. I've got a 160 Saveas in my crystal formation, and I could have a Mythic Lyca take his place and still use Saveas. Thank you for that, I don't know why it didn't dawn on me to change that. I've been looking for the right time to leave Saveas behind, this might be it. I'm currently running level 200 Shemira (Ascended), level 180 Lucius (Mythic), level 180 Belinda (Mythic), level 170 Rowan (Mythic), and level 160 Saveas (Leg+). My plan was to drop Saveas as soon as I had nothing else to level up (Rowan to 180)...because as soon as I get Rowan and Lyca to 180, I can put another 20 levels into Shemira. So while this was indeed a mistake, I'm lucky it hasn't actually negatively impacted me yet. - I made one major mistake that I have been kicking myself for, and this has drastically hindered my progress. I made a Legendary Belinda after I already had a Legendary+ Belinda...I assumed I needed 2 Leg+ Belinda's to make her Mythic. So this mistake cost me 2 Elite+ Belinda's. 1 to make the mistake and 1 to fix the mistake (made her Leg+ and then fed her to Rowan to make Mythic). Instead of having 1 Ascended Shemira and 4 Mythic characters on my team; I could have a 1 Star Belinda an Ascended Shemira and 3 Mythics.

I'm at my end-ish game (level 260 for the characters) and I find hiring heroes in labyrinth has helped me immensely in clearing the hard Wrizz 3rd labyrinth. See, I only have elite Rowan and I don't have the twins, but if I see them for hire (usually at 2-star ascended tier with +10 or more SI grade), I'd go hire them in a heartbeat. In the 3rd (hard) labyrinth there is also 1 hero for hire but you have to defeat them first, I find Tasi, Belinda, and Ferael over there is OP. 3rd labyrinth Belinda can one-shot multiple heroes even in hard mode (couple that with Rosaline!).
Tip to beginer in a nutshell : Don't spend your diamonds unless it garanty you to have 10 heros, or 1 garantie elite. If there is a confirm message in the temple of ascension, click no.
this game was always showing up in ads and I don't know why they decided to be a bit scammy with the ads. they could've shown the gameplay itself because it's really well done in my opinion. it took a while for me to decide to download it and it was not because of the ads. now I'm hooked
Personally I'm alright with feeding lower tier ascended heros to upgrade my core team. As long as I already have enough heros of that class for a full team (for king's tower) I'm happy to sacrifice the less useful heroes so that I can get further in the present rather than bank on a possible buff in the future. At least until the units on my crystal get to Ascended so I can max level everyone.
Definitely didn't convince me to keep uniques on the chance that they might be upgraded eventually. Nemora was a core team member on my first play, and in the last two months on a brand new account, and she hasn't survived long enough to heal a single time. Considering there are so many alternate healers now that there weren't the last time I stopped playing, I was happy to sacrifice her
The one thing I totally missed was the Legends Challenge thing. I couldn’t play it as a newbie, and just never went into it. I never even knew there was a store for it, because I didn’t realise the store selector at the bottom scrolled! Possibly months of not getting heroes by spending challenger coins. Such an idiot 😟
Only halfway through the video, so idk if this was covered, but for new players, don't forget to do bounties. They do not harm you at all, it is just free loot. I have had at least 2 friends tell me that they just don't do them. Don't make the same mistake.
Coming back to watch this.. skregg was my first elite. Well Grezhul was technically, but I made a different acc fairly quickly and started with Skregg. I sold him out to upgrade Brutus, at the time Brutus was.. well Brutus. Now Skregg is arguably one of the best Tanks in the game, in fact at the time I thought he was dope. Always carried my team lol but I listened to other people unfortunately. I'm gonna build him again though! Edit: I do think, or at least hope Brutus will get a rework, as well as Lucious to make them more end game viable. A rework to their SI and Furniture would be great. Shemira, and Kelthur as well.
Granted for some instances sacrificing an ascended tier hero isn’t so bad especially if you’re not dropping a bunch of money on the game. People that spend money on the game will be summoning heroes all the time but those that don’t might take weeks or even a month to get enough fodder to ascend a hero
I disagree about not going for carts. I always go for the first 3 carts and get the really good heros for late lab, and then I hit only red enemies. Also never buy mythic gear for diamonds. Buy mythic gear from the guild store. when you progress in the campaign far enough you can get mythic gear from afk awards. Save your diamonds for summoning
I had an elite+ Thane, Estrilda and Mirael. I don’t care bout the Mirael, and the temple of ascension was trying to get me to combine my Thane and Estrilda. I legit just wasted diamonds trying to get another Morvus, that was torture but now I have a legendary Thane. Also I’m like, early into the game sadly.
At my stage of Labyrinth, sometimes the trader can have mythic gear for 1800 diamonds and I'll always take advantage of that, that's almost half price lol. You make so many diamonds in the game, I only do that on my main account.
@@VolkinGames yes sir, it sure is. I'm not a completely free to play player. But I dont spend much, maybe 30 to 50 every two weeks, and I take advantage of it from time to time as well because its 1000 to 1300 diamonds cheaper than the shop.
Once you reach chapter 19/20 start saving up ur guild coins cause in.chapter 21 u can get tokens to get mythic plus gear. Btw Gwyneth is actually rly good surprisingly even at elite plus at floor 100 in faction tower and stfd
The problem is that I'm a person who will not pay on this game, so the probabilities to be able to ascend that much heroes is imposible to me almost. So I wanna have a team of ascended, be able to get through the game, and (even when I just did once to feed posible ascended) idc of losing 1 ascended who I will never get ascend.
Tips on extending watch time to maximise profits: Repeat yourself but use different wording, go on tangents about irellevant topics and overexplain the entire process. You will turn what should be a 5 minute video into a 13 minute video in no time

@Death Omen Raine is trash 95% of the game. She can be used (very) early, to help Shemira before chap 15. After, you will basicly want to make her fodder, investing in her is just a waste. As the game gives you many copy of her, you may want to make her a celestial link slut, but using her to feed Gwyneth/Estrilda is a very better trade. Or Lucius/belinda/Fawkes, as these 3 will carry you hard to ch 29, then you can retire them as celestial catalyst after good services.
Finding your videos very helpful especially about resonating crystals. One thing that I am having difficulty is just in relation to my top 5. Would you suggest having one or two from different factions and is there much point having an L+ hero as one of the top 5 as surely sooner or later they will be fed to an ascended hero?

To 3 of my accounts I have maxed labyrinth points. When they are maxed the rest come in the mail. I waited for the labyrinth store to reset before collecting them, received all of them.

Don't forget that you can lock your heroes so you don't end up feeding them by accident!

Great tip on keeping heroes. I hit faction towers recently and I don’t even have 5 heroes for some, even the elite+ help out to get the bonus.

So this mistake cost me 2 Elite+ Belinda's. 1 to make the mistake and 1 to fix the mistake (made her Leg+ and then fed her to Rowan to make Mythic). Instead of having 1 Ascended Shemira and 4 Mythic characters on my team; I could have a 1 Star Belinda an Ascended Shemira and 3 Mythics.

I'm at my end-ish game (level 260 for the characters) and I find hiring heroes in labyrinth has helped me immensely in clearing the hard Wrizz 3rd labyrinth. See, I only have elite Rowan and I don't have the twins, but if I see them for hire (usually at 2-star ascended tier with +10 or more SI grade), I'd go hire them in a heartbeat. In the 3rd (hard) labyrinth there is also 1 hero for hire but you have to defeat them first, I find Tasi, Belinda, and Ferael over there is OP. 3rd labyrinth Belinda can one-shot multiple heroes even in hard mode (couple that with Rosaline!).
Tip to beginer in a nutshell :
Don't spend your diamonds unless it garanty you to have 10 heros, or 1 garantie elite.
If there is a confirm message in the temple of ascension, click no.
this game was always showing up in ads and I don't know why they decided to be a bit scammy with the ads. they could've shown the gameplay itself because it's really well done in my opinion. it took a while for me to decide to download it and it was not because of the ads. now I'm hooked
yeah ill never understand idle game ads... idle heroes did it and then every idle game thought it was a must for some weird reason

Personally I'm alright with feeding lower tier ascended heros to upgrade my core team. As long as I already have enough heros of that class for a full team (for king's tower) I'm happy to sacrifice the less useful heroes so that I can get further in the present rather than bank on a possible buff in the future. At least until the units on my crystal get to Ascended so I can max level everyone.

Definitely didn't convince me to keep uniques on the chance that they might be upgraded eventually. Nemora was a core team member on my first play, and in the last two months on a brand new account, and she hasn't survived long enough to heal a single time. Considering there are so many alternate healers now that there weren't the last time I stopped playing, I was happy to sacrifice her
I guess the best option to ascend heroes is by using the legendary heroes list rather than Ascended ones. They're pretty easy to earn and it's cheap.
I almost use my E+ Hendrick to make my Legendary Gwyneth. Thank god that I found you, your videos help me alot. Thank you Volkin

The one thing I totally missed was the Legends Challenge thing. I couldn’t play it as a newbie, and just never went into it. I never even knew there was a store for it, because I didn’t realise the store selector at the bottom scrolled! Possibly months of not getting heroes by spending challenger coins. Such an idiot 😟

Only halfway through the video, so idk if this was covered, but for new players, don't forget to do bounties. They do not harm you at all, it is just free loot. I have had at least 2 friends tell me that they just don't do them. Don't make the same mistake.

Coming back to watch this.. skregg was my first elite. Well Grezhul was technically, but I made a different acc fairly quickly and started with Skregg. I sold him out to upgrade Brutus, at the time Brutus was.. well Brutus. Now Skregg is arguably one of the best Tanks in the game, in fact at the time I thought he was dope. Always carried my team lol but I listened to other people unfortunately. I'm gonna build him again though!
Edit: I do think, or at least hope Brutus will get a rework, as well as Lucious to make them more end game viable. A rework to their SI and Furniture would be great. Shemira, and Kelthur as well.
Granted for some instances sacrificing an ascended tier hero isn’t so bad especially if you’re not dropping a bunch of money on the game. People that spend money on the game will be summoning heroes all the time but those that don’t might take weeks or even a month to get enough fodder to ascend a hero

I disagree about not going for carts. I always go for the first 3 carts and get the really good heros for late lab, and then I hit only red enemies. Also never buy mythic gear for diamonds. Buy mythic gear from the guild store. when you progress in the campaign far enough you can get mythic gear from afk awards. Save your diamonds for summoning
I had an elite+ Thane, Estrilda and Mirael. I don’t care bout the Mirael, and the temple of ascension was trying to get me to combine my Thane and Estrilda. I legit just wasted diamonds trying to get another Morvus, that was torture but now I have a legendary Thane. Also I’m like, early into the game sadly.
I have a question: which is better and what should I use. Im using lucius, Belinda. Rosaline, estrlida. Should I use fawkes or Raine as my last card?
2:00 was thinking on doing that, but hessitated whether or not do it since I could use them as fooders.

At my stage of Labyrinth, sometimes the trader can have mythic gear for 1800 diamonds and I'll always take advantage of that, that's almost half price lol. You make so many diamonds in the game, I only do that on my main account.

@@VolkinGames yes sir, it sure is. I'm not a completely free to play player. But I dont spend much, maybe 30 to 50 every two weeks, and I take advantage of it from time to time as well because its 1000 to 1300 diamonds cheaper than the shop.

Once you reach chapter 19/20 start saving up ur guild coins cause in.chapter 21 u can get tokens to get mythic plus gear.

The problem is that I'm a person who will not pay on this game, so the probabilities to be able to ascend that much heroes is imposible to me almost. So I wanna have a team of ascended, be able to get through the game, and (even when I just did once to feed posible ascended) idc of losing 1 ascended who I will never get ascend.
Tips on extending watch time to maximise profits:
Repeat yourself but use different wording, go on tangents about irellevant topics and overexplain the entire process. You will turn what should be a 5 minute video into a 13 minute video in no time

I've been running into multiple instances where I get stuck on Labyrinth so getting the 45k Lab points I needed to buy those heroes, Is there a chance to get some more info or another vid for tips and tricks for the this mode or is it just a trial and error type thing?

@Death Omen Raine is trash 95% of the game. She can be used (very) early, to help Shemira before chap 15. After, you will basicly want to make her fodder, investing in her is just a waste. As the game gives you many copy of her, you may want to make her a celestial link slut, but using her to feed Gwyneth/Estrilda is a very better trade. Or Lucius/belinda/Fawkes, as these 3 will carry you hard to ch 29, then you can retire them as celestial catalyst after good services.

Finding your videos very helpful especially about resonating crystals. One thing that I am having difficulty is just in relation to my top 5. Would you suggest having one or two from different factions and is there much point having an L+ hero as one of the top 5 as surely sooner or later they will be fed to an ascended hero?
I don't see a lot of talk about that, but is it a good thing to focus on one faction in particular? I'm pretty much only using wilders, for example.

To 3 of my accounts I have maxed labyrinth points. When they are maxed the rest come in the mail. I waited for the labyrinth store to reset before collecting them, received all of them.

Yeah, if I don't get heroes from the abandoned wagons, I never finish the third floor. It's that simple. I am not leveled strong enough to finish without help from those wagons.
