Indeed, only whales can even dream of getting there, and they still need a lot of luck. Typical of mobile games though, F2P only goes so far. To really compete at the highest level you have to open your wallet wide open and spend a heck of a lot of money and even than there aren't any guarantees. Unless you're a whale I wouldn't even dream of such goals as you'll only be perpetually disappointed. Instead focus on getting your main cast to mythic tier and that's as far as most non whales go in this game.

Celestials and Hypogeans like the Twins can only be gained by extremely lucky summon rounds or more targeted yet still heavily RNG dependent stargazing. Stargazing seems like the obvious choice as the hero you want is guaranteed, it will just take a whole lot of tries to get it and each try is 5k gold as opposed to 2.7k for a 10 summon round. Take the number of Twins you need to go from 0 to ascended, multiply by 5k diamonds per round and than by whatever the average stargazer hero drop is and you get the amount of diamonds required. It's an insane amount and there really aren't any shortcuts. So yeah technically F2P players can get there, eventually, if they same all their diamonds and only spend it stargazing and do it for a very long time. Than they will eventually get a single celestial/hypogean ascended. Now multiply that by 5 for a whole team of celestials/hypogeans and even more if you want to 5 star them. It just isn't feasible for anyone but whales.
I find the terms “3-skill” and “4-skill” less confusing than “Legendary tier” and “Ascended tier”, since you can summon Legendary tier not just at “blue”, but at “purple” too like Ascended tier, yet can immediately look at the number of skills they have to see which kind it is.
I only need one more Lucius to make him mythic. Then I'll hopefully be able to finish chapter 14, been stone walled there so long haha. Great content dude 👌🏼

There is so much more to this game than I initially thought. I’ve been playing Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes for almost 3 years and this is much more complex!
Came across this as a brand new player and you have explained this really well as I have no idea what I am doing yet but now I know what to watch out for with the ascensions and to look out for the different ranks of the summons. Still going to take some time to really get the hang of this but hey that's part of the fun right.
I knew i didn’t have too but for some reason I still was using three of each of the same level heroes without mixing the to move up from elite+. Now that I understand more I’m kicking myself!
I'm probably going to beat chapter 17 today also, just by things I've learned from you, and learning more about some of the heroes I've been blessed with that you've covered. Mythic Lucius and Mythic Numisu, Mythic+ Belinda, and Ascended Fawkes and Ascended 2☆ Hendrik. All 180, except Belinda 181. I'm on 17-37. I'd like to thank you so much bro, really!
Great video for the newbies! On a side note: I progressed from Stage 13 to 16:24 simply because of getting 2 more copies of Lucius and 2 shemiras! (Thanks new event!!). Insane how broken those two are together..
Also for any people wondering, if u see people with ascended heroes who just came out (e.g. new celestials) they get it from the stargazer. (In volkins previous summoning vid). (He might be said it in the vid,haven't watched it yet fully)
A great video is new to this game. Installed it because I play injustice 2 mobile and I will get gems if I get a legendary in this game. So, far I enjoy the game I won't uninstall it but DAMN, trying to get Legendary is going to be a dozy
Gonna focus on Talene and Ezizh as my celestial and hypogean. Hoping to get a few copies during events or atleast one. Saving coins to buy Ezizh. I did buy Fawkes but I was one away from making L+ and it helped me jump a bunch of levels so no regrets there. But yeah only time will tell lol. I think later in the game it’s be easier to get those heroes.

Would it be bad if I had an end game comp in mind and then went against your rule of thumb to use some ascended tier Heros at elite+ that I won’t use in that comp, as fodder for heros that I do intend to use? Just to accelerate through those earlier campaign chapters?
Now, I'm confused. My Gwen is legendary and i tried to ascend her to + but it wouldn't work and I ended up making my other copy of Gwen legendary and now I can't fuse them together? It's really weird.
If you ascend a hero at level 1 with another level 1. Is it any different from ascending full leveled up heros together? Or will it be the same exact stats at the end on the max level no matter what?

Unless you're leveling foder heroes, no reason to hold off on those. Especially the good ones like Sevease that you might actually want to use at that stage. Also no reason to wait for store and/or quest reward heroes, for example no reason to not ascend Shemira to legendary, you will eventually get enough copies to get legendary+ it's only a matter of time, not luck.
Hi Volkin, newbie here. I really like daimon to be my carry, but I only have 3 copies of him. My other hero (Thoran and Ferael) got 4 copies. For the sake of progression, should I ascend thoran/ferael or should I wait for daimon copy? (Im currently at ch 11)
I don't know if anyone's having this issue or it just depends where you are re in the game but I haven't played the game in a year and when trying to ascend my characters to mythic it says "already at max ascension" is it because I'm not like high level or smth? I'm level 83 so 🤷🏾♀️ do I need to clear something? Like the Kings Tower or Peaks of Time??

Can not every character reach mythic mode? I have a few legendary pluses but all they say is "maxed out" and I don't see an option to keep going like you have here. So I assume it's just certain characters.

@@Feisty123 They can be good early game before lv160 and easy to get to l+, Arden from Wilder is good for a long time because he can root enemies. Rare heroes are just fodder eventually but they have some use. I only build a couple though that fit in my teams you always want to keep some fodder for better heroes and use as necessary.

How about a mid to late game guide since some characters tend to fall off. And maybe a Dura's relic guide at the same time.
