For our latest mission, we created a custom-built set that allowed random New Yorkers to instantly deliver a Hallmark holiday card and light up someone’s holiday. Participants were surprised as Christmas lights lit up the plaza and their message was displayed on a 30-foot wide screen above.
This project is a collaboration with Hallmark, who provided us with an assortment of Hallmark Signature Cards for the project.

"In our control room on the 2nd floor, we had an illustrator who was able to re-create the messages live in a close approximation of the writer’s handwriting."
I was hoping for a wireless GPS/accelerometer in the pen, an inductive sensor pad, some clever tech-gadget gimmick. But it's just a low-tech human surveillance gimmick. With an artist who has neat handwriting.

Maybe he's uncomfortable in front of the camera, maybe he's uncomfortable at so publicly showing emotions, maybe he's constipated, maybe he's cold or hungry or tired, maybe that's his regular expression and you're projecting your own discomfort and emotions on him, maybe they are out later then they're supposed to be or somewhere they aren't supposed to be, maybe he's thinking of people like you and your negative reactions and having to put up with that later, etc.
