💔💔💔 Thank You 💔💔💔 What a heart-breaking story... I'm so sorry for yours and your families loss. This information is extremely vital for especially my category of people (Pensioners)
The unemployment of Zimbabweans doesn't justify the bad health care notice the number of cars bought by the government? It's misplaced priorities. Ministers get houses worth half a million deputy ministers over a quarter of a million, perm secs also get. Judges etc.
Zim healthcare is a weird one, when my dad was ill during COVID I think he got better care there than UK as they was no beds here, but it was costly but had cover, my cousin passed away in April under Zim care but we had cover, I don't know what it is but when people pass away like my Aunt in UK it feels like a lot was done to keep them alive in Zim it feels like something more could have been done but not sure if that's lack of resources or self hatred for ourselves, my mission now is to find a way to make Zimbos love themselves again
Last year 2500 mothers died giving or just after giving birth. Cancer patience are being referred to SA, Zambia and Namibia just imagine no working cancer machine the whole of Zimbabwe. There is no medication at all.
Yep, if not misappropriating tax payers money, they’re busy spending on areas of less need e.g, airport expansions etc. They have zero compassion for the Zimbabwean people.
I am so sorry for your loss. May the family find healing...what a tragedy. Whenever I hear stories about the Zim health care I can't help but be so shocked. Zim Medical school used to be one of the BEST in the continent, therefore they were the best in practices...but today the doctors (who I believe are still very good) have little to work with. Politicians know how to ruin good things.
This story is very very light on the details of what actually happened before they went to hospital and what care was given there. I'm guessing the doctors and nurses did what they could do with what they had. But they were let down by a system that is supposed to get patients to hospital in time and provide medication, investigations and resources adequate for the job
😢😢 this is terribly sad. Nematambudziko🙏🏾. I am so sorry for your loss. May your brother and all the family be comforted at such a difficult time. Love and light to you and your family. May the little Angels’ souls continue to rest in peace ❤️.
Deepest condolences to you and your family ❤ Healthcare could be something people from the diaspora could come together and possibly build hospitals. We have a huge community and want to come home but healthcare is the biggest problem.
I pray that we as a peaceful people we just need to organise from diasporas through our embassy wherever we are to raise funds to build our healthcare system from scratch it’s been in a mess for decades
The time the Africans that live back home and not just diasporans raise their standards and expectations of these things the sooner things will improve. The good things for leaders is that when people are ignorant and in survival mode they won’t know that they should be getting which by the way isn’t just an issue of governance but everyone’s responsibility and has a lot to do with required shifts in culture and attitudes but this does beging with education.
We can’t have an effective system where all the consumables come from the patients’ families. It’s insane! In my view, the skill and the expertise is there. The lack of facilities is frustrating!
My. Condolences 🙏 brother to you and your brother's family. Thank you for the information on the health care system. However, I feel you left out a bit of the story at the end. You should have asked your sister in law and the surviving kids to give their account of what happened. A full toxicology report was needed including on the ones that survived.
Very sorry for your loss brother. Burnt rice its incomplete combustion happening there,so if the rice really got burnt for a long time ,there is a possibility Carbon monoxide was produced in quantities that are fatal. Its a very dangerous gas as it binds to your blood cells and inhibits you from getting enough oxygen, and the process is irreversible as it permanently damages the capability of your red blood cells to carry oxygen. Its probably what killed them. So sorry brother❤
Almost lost my dad after having an Operation @ Pari, still traumatised till this day. The issue is medical professionals in Zim are never held accountable. Ps I know there are also problems with salaries and lack of meds etc.
The number of Zim nurses and doctors in the diaspora are enough to run a new country, Botswana and Namibia have a population of 2 million plus people, and how many Zimbabweans are in the diaspora.
Obviously we can't compare The NHS with the health system in Zimbabwe but the NHS is no longer fit for purpose either. Some pts being misdiagnosed, most Pts are waiting for ambulance for up to 6 hrs, 7 hour wait to see a junior Dr in ED, over 18 hrs to get a bed on the ward, specialist ref taking up to 1 year so these problems are every now. Even in the UK people should still get health insurance because the NHS of yester year isn't the same anymore
Poverty is a bad curse. People need smoke dictators however priorities are to get the basics needs first. Things in Zim are so expensive as this situation with the USD, so many things are wrong. God bless the kids man. Desperate times.
Diaspora if you need a business in Zim please consider venturing in our health care especially ambulance services that are affordable. May the Lord help us. Thanks
I think the pathologist didn't want to do the autopsy and the police didn't want to push for it either. There are case of that poisoning with people foaming on the mouth but there is no scientific evidence of the relation it has to carbon monoxide poisoning.
@@ruwaorganic So sorry for your loss. It's true that mouth frothing, vomiting, seizures, bowel incontinence, muscle aches, confusion etc are symptoms of CO poisoning. Please look out for possible long-term neuropsychiatric effects. I pray that all is and will be well 🙏

Most people who can afford they tend to go to SA for healthcare services . We have a very long way to go as a country to improve our healthcare delivery system
@@UncleO001.so true. Comparing private healthcare and NHS is not fair. Comparing public zim healthcare like parirenyatwa and NHS is a better comparison. Buying your own meds, bring your own blankets and water etc etc
I think you are hugely misinformed. Zim doctors and nurses definitely try their best despite being paid peanuts, if they’re paid at all. But let’s not conflate their dedication with the state of our healthcare system. I live in a European country where I can even get surgery for free. The largest amount of money a woman would have to pay for giving birth would be around $10 and that would be for parking. Zim nurses and doctors do try their best but they operate with one arm tied behind their backs. The system is dismal and though they may be dedicated, there’s only so much you can do. What is a doctor supposed to do when there is no electricity, medicine, equipment etc. ?
If only there was no corruption, no looting, no criminals masquerading as leaders we have good health professionals. I was part of the team once and it was really satisfying working in there.
