I actually enjoyed this episode, Daredevil was obviously the highlight and we saw Jen learn that the road isn't always an easy one as Bruce tried to warn her, hopefully this leads to some character development for Jen.
Once they start seeing you as a monster, that never goes away

Loved Matt in this episode, after all the emotional and Physical abuse this man has gone through in his own show, he has earned these smiles and laughs in this epsidoe. As long as they return to the darker tone for Echo and Born again I'm totally MCU Matt Murdock

The scene with Jen and Matt battling in the courtroom is probably my fav in the series.
The focus on pure legal drama with the backdrop of a superhero show really made for a compelling back and forth.

Love how they have increased his abilities showing him being more acrobatic. Also hope in his show they’d till have fight scenes much like the Netflix series. They need to find a good balance. His fight scenes were so good from the first hallway fight scene to the prison scene. Show his abilities to the fullest but also gotta have him getting hurt like in the Netflix series.

This makes me so much less worried about how they'll handle him in his own show. Charlie just fit right in like he had been in this franchise the entire time. It didn't feel as jarring as I expected.

By far the best episode of She-Hulk so far. Give me more of that courtroom drama at the start of the episode in this show. Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock was outstanding!
Did you know that the bright yellow helped Daredevil become more stealthy, he was able to blend in with all the yellow parking lines which made it difficult for She-Hulk to hit him 😁

This episode is awesome. My favorite so far and it gives me a lot of callbacks from the Netflix Daredevil series. Which is the actor playing the character, hallway fight and even the theme played right there when he calls himself Daredevil to She-Hulk.

I honestly love the upgrade he got. Kingpin felt a lot more powerful in Hawkeye, so it only makes sense for Daredevil to be as well. All the flips and dodges, didn’t happen that much in the original series
I liked it too I just hope the fight scenes in the new show are done mostly practical like the first 3 seasons

Charlie Cox being featured more as Daredevil is all I needed to see. Literally up there with Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, and Robert Downey Jr for perfect superhero casting.
Ryan Reynolds is the only one of those that's good casting. I'm tired of fools that never read the comic books talking about how all this bad casting is so great.

Matt Murdock was PERFECT in this episode! Here he was more like his lighthearted, witty self from the early part of season 1… a much needed change after all the insanity and darkness he dealt with during the rest of Daredevil.
Bang on audio work. Almost didn't feel like the voiceovers were coming from off screen. Props to the producers for saving a lot of budget (not the overworked and underpaid audio engineers, they did their jobs).
Yeah lmao, the voice audio in this clip threw me off.

I love how this is Daredevil is still very much the same as the one from the Netflix show: smart, a good judge of character, quite the charmer with women and loves to be in danger (his smile after evading She-Hulk's smash is so on point). And his chemistry with She-Hulk is delightful, hopefully we'll see them together again.

I whole-heartedly support a romance between Jen and Matt. I watched this episode imagining that this Matt has gone through pretty much exactly what Netflix Matt went through. And yeah, Matt deserves an awesome girl like Jen.

They do have a relationship in the comics as well so this was nothing new, even expected

It looks like a cheap Halloween costume. Looks like a cheap plastic helmet looks really bad the gold makes it appear very flimsy and not tactical when it was red. I don’t care about the colors of it was actually yellow but the gold makes it look tacky and cheap.

@@omiranhabugado2 he definitely already has it, when talking to Jen at the bar he said the designer made him multiple suits. Jen thought he was talking about his lawyer attire but he was 100% talking about superhero suits
I do like how he was portrayed here, if it is the same Matt from the Netflix shows, he deserves some lightheartedness in his life, but I really hope they cut down on the CGI for his acrobatics. The Netflix show had amazing stunts because it was all done in person without much if any CGI. If they could portray the athleticism and gymnastics without using CGI that would be so much better in my opinion.

@@TheScarletSlayer Salutations. It was a good one, this She-Hulk Episode 8. Even in the final moments at the awards gala - with no Daredevil in sight - the episode had an edge, and had strong direction.
The question remains: Can Episode 9 capitalize on this momentum and continue it, or will it deflate the excellent tension that was built up?

This was not a good one, so just add it onto the pile, bringing in a once iconic character isn't enough to save an episode and if it is you have to think how low the bar must've been set.
Sure Mat and Jen are the closest thing to having real chemistry but unfortunately it happened after it's been established she will happily bang any decent and attractive man after their first meeting.
Also I'm not going to act like Leap Frog was ever a great character I mean it's fricken leap frog he's about as intimidating as calendar man. But did they really have to go that extra mile and make him a retard.
Not exactly a great showcase of Daredevils return when his enemy has already been established to be brain dead.
Also what's with Jen and property damage, when she's fighting daredevil and completely trashed the parking garage. But I guess f**k whoever needed to use it, owns it, and whoever owned that car she didn't have to break.
Also for a hero she does murder alot of people.
At the awards ceremony she hulk and every single other female lawyer are given the same award hence eradicating the point of giving out awards at all.
Because female empowerment means giving them what they want for nearly existing.
Seriously though Jen is the worst lawyer I've ever seen, remember Johnny Depp's lawyer in that court case against Amber and how she was hands down amazing at what she did....so she hulk is not that as she has shown to be constantly unprepared for her cases, never does anything at work, complains whenever she gets a case she doesn't like, has threatened people with violence if they didn't throw the case in her favor, and my god this is more cartoonish than family guy court.
First of all they have security checks in place for possible hidden weapons such as smoke BOMBS Donny brought in, witnesses have to be approved of in advance to the court and cannot be brought in at random especially not while drunk, it's illegal to impersonate a judge in any capacity and the case with the shapeshifter would've been thrown out immediately after she ruled herself in her favor.
POINT IS
The award She-Hulk wins means nothing because not only does she not deserve it but this law firm does not deserve to be in business.

The moment daredevil said "it's daredeviling time," I knew that this is one of the shows ever made
Aside from WandaVision & Hawkeye, there hasn’t been many references to the 5-year gap from the Blip.
Even if Matt got blipped, I hope Born Again delves into the street-level MCU characters experiencing the Blip and maybe even tie it into how Kingpin got out; Fisk not getting blipped allowed him to walk right out of prison since half the guards and inmates are dust, stuff like that.
Maybe if Punisher ever comes back he could’ve been one of the few heroes that didn’t get blipped and we can see what he was up to in his own series

I am sure I am not the only one to say this; can we have just have Daredevil. I love Daredevil but hate the green CGI lady and the nerdy Jen constantly talking to the audience like she is Deadpool. I loved the Daredevil series because it was gritty and not slapstick locker room humor.

Only difference I see so far is that they had him doing more crazy acrobatics which wouldn’t be possible without cgi, which I’m honestly all for as long as they keep the fight scenes practical in his own show
@@spider-jonah-man7148 Comics DD can toe-to-toe in melee with Spider-Man in terms of acrobatics and agility (and hypersense/spidersense), so it looks like he can keep up with MCU Spidey (although suit tech could alter those odds).

I love this daredevil it’s a mix between the comics and the Netflix show and I think it’s a perfect way to introduce him into the mcu

Finally a good episode. Not only did Matt's character fit in the context of the show, but they balanced comedy and seriousness quite well too. Not to mention Charlie and Tatiana have great chemistry together. And as for his original musical cue, I actually cried real tears of joy when I heard it. If only they could have given us a 12-minute hallway fight :)

At first I thought the characterization for DD was a bit off, but after some thought I realized that his slightly more "chipper" vibe was more in line with the Waid run on the comic (which I really like!) I'm excited to see where the DD show takes the character. Although I hope they show that this brighter version of Matt is just a mask covering up his DEEP depression, because I think that's an important part of the character.
Surprise Surprise, they didn't ruin Daredevil.
And keep in mind, I'm not being biased.
I don't like the show; but I do see they did Matt Murdock justice.
