Taiwan can easily defeat China.And there are two America fleets if they need help.We would probably send the same help we have sent Ukraine.Taiwan is not alone.Many if them are from Japan .So they would get help from Japan as well .
Only a small handful of countries recognize Taiwan as independent. Most countries - including the USA and despite its constant war-mongering belligerence - support the One China Policy.

Taiwan is the premier nation for the development and production of microchips that the modern world depends on...in your computer, your phone, your car to name the most basic personal use, never mind everything else that depends upon it. Taiwan produces 60% of the worlds semiconductors and 90% of the most advanced ones. Why do you think the USA has just done a deal to start manufacturing there? Nowhere in the world is anywhere near as advanced and the majority of the highest spec smallest nanochips are made by one company, TSMC.
People will come to countries that are ruled by mugs. Everything is weighted in favour of the non British born. Britain probably has one of the best social welfare handouts, the best legal service, the best social decisions that favours foreigners.

Over 60s passes in London were a GLA election pledge by Boris, and I think Ken was going to to it as well. It was supposed to address the unfairness of raising the retirement age for women, but in the interest of equality men were entitled to them as well The current Mayor has cut the hours that they can be used, in the first place, to help social distancing, but then, changed the reason to make extra money.
We are crucifying our young people. Housing, health, income, travel, cost of living, scams all over, super costs and unfairness everywhere and nothing works. All down to Tories. Over past 12 years. When are we going to drag them all back to face accountability.
