I wish someone would scan this road onto a racing game like Forza! This is the closest thing we have nearby that's even close to driving the Nürburgring. I need to get back out there and blow the dust off my white knuckles...lol
Brought my 2019 MX5 Club to a Dragon rally last fall and was also in a similar scenario behind a GT3. Didn't have much trouble outpacing nearly every other car in the rally, but the only one that it was impossible to keep pace with was the GT3. It's unreal how much speed it can carry into turns. I'd imagine it's what high pressure water must feel like flowing through a coiled firehose. You need to have a strong stomach to keep from being physically sick getting tossed around in that thing, and nerves of steel to keep it off the yellow.
Gt3 has a lot of power to put down as well. You can compensate with better tires on the MX5, but it'll take a lot not to scrub off speed. I remember when I drove Blood Mountain in GA last time, I was all over my stock seats so now im in the process of getting buckets in
Nice driving. I need to go there when it's cold. When I went up there in the summer, it was clogged with Harleys and they wouldn't use the pull offs to let you over. I still had fun though.

That Gt3 is doing what it was built to do with all that down force. The rx7 was also built to do the same but was built in the 90s and does not have as much aero. Impressive what Mazda did. I like both cars but I would love to know the mods on the Fd.

Wow. That is big on oem fenders. I run 255 fronts and 275 rear. I could run 265 fronts and 295 backs but that is it I believe. Anything else would be a pull or wide body fender. Curious how he did it. Maybe a custom offset wheel. Thanks for the response
