I have a Nikon Z6ii and Z30. I like to use my Z30 as my webcam for meetings with the Nikkor DX 24mm f/1.7. So no plans on selling the Z30 as I really like having a nice webcam. And can always use it for other things if I want.
I have the exact same webcam setup and it’s gold. Constantly draws unprovoked praise from other video conference participants. I connect it with a Camlink 4K device and use an external mic.
@@russandloz I bought a cheap HDMI to USB adapter. It does 1080p resolution which is enough for a webcam. Like @jordiw3692 I also have an Elgato Camlink 4K, which I use with my Nikon Z6ii on occasions. Currently the cheap HDMI to USB adapters seem to sell for less than $20.
Have both these same cameras. Love the z30 for a webcam, and yes I also use an hdmi hub to connect to the com. Great little travel camera when I don't want to pack lots of gear, and my daughters who use smart phones and tablets far prefer it to use, than the z6ii. Z50 needs a refresh, z30 a mini hdmi instead of a micro, and the zfc make each dial with an auto mode and all 3 with new processors and and your good to go. A serious apsc sports action and wildlife camera would be a good addition making 4. 3rd party manufacturers could make a plethora of zooms for these cameras which they can also make in other mounts and for young aspiring or travel enthusiasts all their nikon dreams can come true.
@@russandloz I use a cheap 1080p HDMI to USB converter for the Z30. Works well for me. I also have an Elgato Camlink 4K which I will use with the Z6ii.
