- Australians for Mental Health Executive Director Chris Gambian says for a long time now Australians “overwhelmingly” have been saying they are “not okay” with their mental health.
“R U OK? Day is a wonderful opportunity for us to connect, and reach out to other people,” Mr Gambian told Sky News Australia.
“It should be R U OK? Day every day and for a long time now Australians overwhelmingly have been saying we’re not okay.
“If we’re not prepared to ask ourselves some really tough, serious questions then we’re not really doing ourselves or the community a good service."

Australians overall struggling with the misinformation from politicians
As the family goes so does the nation. Isn't broken homes and highly unstable defacto relationships wonderful on kids?
50 percent of marriages fail and it's been happening for a very long time.
I'd look to the Post-Modernist philosophy and abandonment of reason around the globe as a general root cause.
I wasnt ok during covid lockdown. Nobody gave a toss.
Depends what you did during Covid.
I rented out my house, hitched up my caravan and my wife and I went fishing and camping for 12 months
My Covid experience was fantastic
@@_TheBreaker_ not all of us own a home and a caravan .

Nothing to do with being taxed into poverty whilst property investors make millions though is it?
Get a job and become a property investor.
Well when you realise your an experiment , it puts things into prospective
We should have this checking everyday. I was not ok for past 12 months but had to hide so I don’t lose my job. The environment had a culture of burn out n bullying. But in Jan I did n then it took another 5 months to cure. Isn’t of cup cakes there should be one on one conversation where people can speck without fear of being judged and not marked as a red flag who would be next to be made redundant for specking up.
Yes you at at the truth of the matter. Many mental health care problems are caused by the abuse of people.
Because our world and country leaders are stressing the life out of all of us “westerners”.
Albo is definitely not ok
Stop getting drunk and using drugs and your brain will thank you. Smoking weed and drinking alcohol is unhealthy.
Most of it caused by government actions and inaction excessive bureaucracy red blue green tape fees and taxes whilst providing wasteful spending gifting our resources whilst we have over 120.000 living on the streets tents and cars including working families.
Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times
