      I have also a 2008 X3/E83 bought 2019. I had problems with 4x4/ABS. In BMW it's possible to disassemble the ABS sensors without destroying them!
      I got an advice to first clean the sensors, or according to a fault code (too long distance/för stort avstånd) on the the front left I started with that one. This solved the whole problem!
      The problem is that in certain parts of Sweden the dust (on gravel roads) contains iron, and this "iron" confuses the sensors!
      But as always, you start with Ista. Delete all fault codes, notice under which conditions they appear again. Already at stand still or after driving 300 m, or something like that.
      Then the wires to the ABS sensors/connectors are very tiny to say the least, and of course very vulnerable to corrosion from salt on the roads. In the first place the ABS sensors must work properly, then in an old car also other things may fail.
      By the way, interesting videos you make. Maybe you should use such a garden knee protections when you work on hard/concrete floors. It's good to save the knees...

    Automotive Lighting (AL) is a brand of Magneti Marelli, they manufacture most of the original headlight for BMWs in the 2000-2012 era.

    Hey as you work a lot on older bmws i found it very helpful to get plastic weld out of a bottle, i used it on a headlight casing of my e90 and the weld is stronger than the plastic itself. I saw it at a local mecanic and its called "Schweißnaht aus der Flasche Regular" its also from germany so seems to be very fitting

    AL is OEM BMW light manufacturer, so these lights may be from a newer model perhaps?

      @@EMSGARAGEE61 also, are you based within central Norway? There's lots of great and cheap parts I was able to find while working in Lillehammer and Sorreisa in 2019, we could possibly build a supply chain, I have a whole sale pricing for engine parts in Latvia, and looking forward to start my volkswagen crafter runs to Nordic countries to collect best engine pieces, to re-assemble them here, in Latvia, and then sell within Nordic market, M57 is pure power

    coming up + 3 random shots in the beginning of the video is soooo Sreten. Multiple short clips when tightening bolts too. Nice work but you need to find your own twist

    • @EMSGARAGEE61
      @EMSGARAGEE61  Год назад

      I mean, coming up is to get the viewer engaged, and it’s been used by RUclipsrs long before Sreten even started, and the bolts, it’s easy to slap together a video where you just show and explain what you did, and not many content creators are willing to go the extra step to show the whole process, M539 and his success is a good example, but there is a gap in the RUclips world that that I am trying to fill with fixing cars in a detailed way that many people enjoy watching (including myself). I understand that for some people it may seem that I am copying M539, but at the end of the day I am just doing what I like, and people seem to like watching it as well😊

    • @bimmernath
      @bimmernath Год назад +1

      Couldn’t agree more. I certainly enjoy your videos. You don’t need to change your style at all. Yes there is a strong hint of m539 restorations in your editing and persona but that’s no bad thing! Your channel is gathering momentum as well so it’s definitely working.

    • @EMSGARAGEE61
      @EMSGARAGEE61  Год назад

      @@bimmernath yeah i understand, i have been watching him since the beginning of his RUclips career, and i basically learned to wrench from him, but i am always thinking of new and original ideas, just hard since today in 2023 it is hard to come up with something new, cus when you do, someone’s probably has done it before😂
