Sorry to be picky Bleb - particularly 5 years late! - but "Peanut Vendor" was composed by Simmons,Sunshine and Gilbert and I believe the original version was done by Stan Kenton in1947 (the year I was born!). Having said that,Perez's version is Excellent and there are those who would say it's the best. You can check out both thanks to the wonderful RUclips! All the Best - Stay Safe-from the UK.
A person came to tune my piano the other day, and we got to talking about different various of instruments and what not. He told me about the bass trombone, which I had never heard of. He said, "That's nothing--check out this video," and showed me this. I'm primarily a keyboard player, so I had no idea there were this many variations of the trombone. That said, the clown really cracks me up. He looks like a bored Pennywise at 1:41. That he was speaking German made it especially terrifying.
mournblade1066 This is of course the German Brass, one of the best brass ensembles in the world. I'm kinda bummed that they cut the video off a little too early haha
That wasn't a trumpet it was a 2 valve soprano bugle in the key of G they were made by Deg and were used by drum corps up until the late 90s early 2000s
1:43 Why am i here. I picked the wrong instrument in band. What should I eat today? Did i leave the stove on ... no .... Even the smartest person alive doesnt know what hes thinking., and those are my guesses
+Thomas Rodenkirch This is fabulous. Played trombone a lifetime ago. Sad I never really put time into playing the instrument. Great song played by great musicians.
Did Trent hamilton not do a video on this video about one of these trombones being in a key close to e flat some please tell me its bugging cause I swear I remember watching a video this exact one
@@joshuapalma408 It's not enough to be made out of brass. It still functions as a woodwind instrument. The didgeridoo is a great contrapositive to that because it's a brass instrument made out of wood. Yet it functions as a brass instrument and thus is part of the family.
Isaac Richter Honestly I'm not even sure, I heard from my professor that the only people that make them are part of a German company called Thein. My prof ordered a piccolo trombone from them just recently.
Those glasses are problably note reading glasses that many professional musiscan use to read sheet music, my granddad had similar when he played trombone. And the tenor closes his eyes problably to play with more feeling and passion. Like you may do with other things that happend naturally
This song keeps coming back onto RUclips but it always gets taken down by the same guy every time.
If anyone is wondering, the trombones in order are contrabass, bass, tenor, alto, soprano, sopranino, piccolo, and piccolino.
Where can I find the piccolino trombone? I've never heard about it before.
@@isaacrichter1101 you can't even find a sopranino trombone
@@hanj31 Thein Brass makes Piccolino Trombones they should make Sopranino Trombones too
Thanks for info, greetings from Copenhagen🇩🇰
Beautiful tone quality
Yep, it's amazing.
I like how right before the video ends it shows the other instruments about to turn up.
Imagine being the poor trombone player you see at 4:17, and you didn’t get to play with this glorious ensemble.
The song is called "The peanut vendor" by Perez Prado

The 𝘦𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 piccolo trombone ;)

mournblade1066 trombones are an enigma
there's a contrabass too
OMG ITS THE PEANUT VENDER!!!!!!!!!!
That is the most beautiful sound I've ever heard from a trombone I didn't know hey could sound like this
This is the reason why I want to play trombone now. I play trumpet and I liked that trumpet solo. 10 out of 10.
That wasn't a trumpet it was a 2 valve soprano bugle in the key of G they were made by Deg and were used by drum corps up until the late 90s early 2000s
Daniel Rehberg a year late to tell you the year they made the change was 1999
Great joy, amazing sound, much beloved Peanut Vendor🥜🥜🥜, greetings from Denmark🇩🇰
Trombones, trumpets and bugles
no.. no bugles involved??? wth
+Spartacus Legends what you think is a trumpet (in silhouette) is actually a two valve bugle
Lily Iglesias ツ bugles are easy to play so I don’t like people that think they’re the shit because the can play a bugle
@@joshuamartin3232 I just saw that again. You are right. 2 valve bugle. I didn't notice the absence of the 3rd valve the first time I saw this
@@SpartacusLegends117 I had totally forgotten about this video, thanks for replying 4years later and allowing me to watch it again.
Office Space brought me here 😃 No, actually I saw this video or a similar one over a year ago and remembered it and wanted to see it again.

That trumpet player should have been using a valve trombone.
i love this version of the peanut vendor

Jordan Lemme Soprano/Piccolo Trombone Mashup.
Jordan Lemme
He did, but it's unlisted.
yes he was talking to the trombone after the soprano but before the piccolo.. he said it could be the Eb Sopranino but its not been proven
Was it the Eb Alto trombone?
I know I'm like a year late, but I think that you are referring to the alto trombone
Who let that filthy trumpet player in
its not a trumpet
I think it was a piccolo trombone
Never mind I saw it
Another reason why trombone is the best instrument in band and orchestra
The song is called Peanut Vendor. I found this video right after watching a spider monkey dancing and singing this song in a 1933 stop motion video.
Bob Cat did you enjoy your nightmares?
I crave the forbidden Eb sopranino
I cannot find where this came from and it’s reall pissing me off
maybe 'The Peanut Vendor'-1933?
I believe this is a group called Mnozil Brass. Or something like that.
@@MrDavidfarris It is the German Brass.
They should do this but in the opposite direction with bass bone variants
Fantastic!
When the bass trombone doesn’t get to play the bass line
i wonder how they got the two smallest trombones
Amazing, just awsome.
For fucks sake in the end it boils down to creativity!!!!! A mind blowing job in idea's!!!!!!! Sennen Antonio Dourado Mumbai
I want one of the small ones. On the right side
Nice tone
I love playing trombones
Awesome vid! Now they just need to do it again but have it where the trombones just keep getting bigger. Lol
Great bass Bone✊🏾
4:00 Hey you're not a trombone! Get out of here!
