Very clear thinking by the driver. Assesses the situation, confirms the BS and f*cks off, well done.
There are life lessons in this.
Loved watching him drive off!
I would have definitely stopped and stepped out. Didn't know this is a carjacking method
Also, a very good excuse for a hit and run
@Jasper Eerdekens I wouldn't without a firearm and that's why wouldn't stop at all cuz I would plugged them
I love how the guy just suddenly appears from the other side of the road feigning shock
That was the bit where I'd defo get out of there. untill then hard to decide (like drunk?) what is going on imo

Had a similar attempt while out riding my motorcycle a few years ago. There were several teens on the side of the road between parked cars and one decided to try to jump out into my lane to try and stop me. I slowed slightly until I noticed the other teens crouched hiding between the parked cars. At the last second I accelerated and maneuvered around the moron trying to stop me while sticking out my left arm as I went past. I gave him a nice 50km/h gloved slap to the face and forehead and nearly took my arm out of its socket. The last I saw in my mirrors was the moron getting up and stumbling off the road with his legs barely able to carry him.

Another thing to keep in mind, their has been a new trend from criminals on causing a minor fender bender. There was a guy in England who used to target roundabouts. He would drive into a roundabout and then suddenly break resulting in the driver behind him hitting him and then he would make an insurance claim. He picked a roundabout with no camera but his mistake was he did it too many times so the next time he did police checked for CCTV around the area and it turned out an office block near the roundabout had CCTV facing the road. DRUGS are baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.............mmmmmmmmmmmm k?
These people arent exactly mensa candidates
some people are just born dumber than the rest of us
…🤔…what’s a dashcam 🧠😂
@@mikeyc7072 A camera that constantly runs away from you 🤣
Get yourself to a safe location first and then call 000. Show the dashcam footage to the police.
That's what old mate did. He drove straight to a police station but when the police went there, they'd taken off.
You can definitely make out who she is from the thumbnail so they could easily track her down
I'll get right on that.
@@Djnosey97 dont underestimate how lazy police are
Right call
Respect the driver. He even teach her a lesson 😂
Fucking lol, she really went for it! Full marks for effort.
Deductions for the landing.
Did she just try and shoulder charge a 2.5 ton 4WD. That's 4 weeks in the sin bin.
What a gentleman, letting the lady be the one that takes the hit. Very egalitarian.
Well she's always complaining about women's rights so he let her have this one
The way how he drives away is amazing😂
Oh no, i hope she's NOT OK 😢💔
I hope that the insurance company is alright! I am so worried. I hate it when people scam insurance companies.
@@johnjack3578 They scam the person with the insurance more than the company.
I don't feel sorry for her "boyfriend" either.
0:07 you see her waiting for the perfect time to jump in front lol then her face when she jumps towards the car lol hahaha
Browns Plains, what a shock. Worked there for a while many years ago, it was a shitehole then and it seems little has changed.
It’s an ethnic cess pool now.
@Jim Mulholland DaS RaYsIs! Or, it's true.... 😉
@@jamezxh It was a bogan cesspool 10 years ago, so I guess that's progress.
I love how he is all chill and stuff
I've never seen someone so happy getting hit by a car 😂
Mis condolencias al vehículo, que se recupere pronto
Ojalá lo laven bien 🙏🚗
Espero que mejores🙏
se ve que le dolio... pobre carro 😔
le rompio el foquito se puede ver... :S
pobre carto ojalá se mejore
Makes you wonder if these people ever get away with this shit if the car doesn’t have a dash cam. Thankfully they’re so prevalent now these people get found out.
If people in west start acting like they do in China these people gonna die.
Without a dash cam it becomes your word vs theirs and potentially who has the best lawyer. That's why you get a dash cam. If the cops come knocking at DC owners front door asking about "a hit and run" they can show the footage.
@@SeAn-jd9cl If it is a scam then NEVER mention the dashcam. Let them make their fraudulent statements then get busted when you mic drop the footage to the police, and also avoiding being bashed or stabbed so they can get a hold of the camera or SD card that'll bring their scam undone.
But if you read the description this was not a simple scam. This was a carjacking attempt or a gang ambush.
Forget the dashcam if they had stopped what do you think the seven people that ran up out of nowhere were planning on doing?
They're hoping whoever hits them is gullible and compassionate. Of course the most innocent people become the victims which makes these kinds of scum even worse. If I was in a dual cab, I'd just run em over and tell the cops "I thought I hit two wombats~ Wah wah~"
That was enough force to fix her previous concussion (the one that made her think that was a good idea)
A dash camera is a must in the present day.
The fact that they casually reverse and drive off suggests it’s a common occurrence there.
Arrested for bad acting. LOL
This is just Disgusting. What has humanity come to the , poor car probably got a Dent or damaged its Bumper…
This is going into the "videos to convince everyone I know to get a dashcam" playlist
Man, I have fallen on some very hard times. And it never occurred to me to come up with a silly plan such as this one.
Well, people do it because it works. It can be an easy payout of a few thousand dollars and in the US the great majority of drivers do not have dash cams.
That one was actually quite impressive. I’d be very surprised if she didn’t break something!
You need to put her in jail before leaving
Should do a whole DCOA video on insurance jobs/fraud.
Sounds like a good idea - DCOA has done instant karma videos of drivers busted by police, why not a compilation of insurance scams/fraud (including this short clip)?😇
She’s like a kangaroo waiting for car lights to appear so she can jump in front of it 🤦♂️
I like how you can see the girl's white shoes in the distance crossing the street, waiting by the street sign, and then abruptly & intentionally darting in front of a moving vehicle while keeping eyesight of the front end that she obviously throws her body against. Meanwhile on the right side of the crosswalk, a "bystander" happens to be walking nearby at just the right moment to see this all transpire in the dead of night.
Great situational awareness! 👏
You can also see her looking at the truck right before jumping in front of it
Where do you see her crossing the street before waiting by the street sign? I can't see it.
@@NoriMori1992 Start at the beginning and zoom in near the area of interest. Look for the whites of her shoes as she moves left (she's already halfway into the crosswalk when the clip starts), gets to the walkway by the sign, then waits for the 1st car to pass by before quickly placing herself in the crossing just as the 2nd car gets near.
You'll also see the male "bystander" coming into view from the shadows between the streetlight and tree on the right side just as this vehicle comes off of the roundabout turn. Whether or not he was part of it is up for debate. As I've been warned, nothing good usually happens at night in the streets.
She learned something about physics that day.
Yeah, no one willingly throws themselves into an oncoming vehicle unless there’s some shady shit going on. Glad the driver assessed the situation and noped out of there quickly
A group of young men (six to eight) tried to stop my Hilux (with bullbar) late one night by walking in front of it. I had to stop, but they kind of got out of the way when I revved the engine like I was going to take off. We -fainted- feinted like that two or three times until I actually did take off as they seemed to be inclined to get out of the way. They might have tried to open the locked doors but I can't remember (panic). Reported it to the police who did a patrol. I don't know of any outcome. This was back in days before dash cams and central locking were common. It's nothing new. Don't stop people, and report it to the police. Drive with your doors locked at night.
*feigned
@@dalekerr5091 Umm, no. Feinted, not feigned which is something different. 🙂
I always do lock, key then buckle. I dont have a gun but if people try to attack me in my car they are getting squished if they are in the way.
It's driver's generosity that he did not run over by them.
"And the Oscar for best attempted car hijacking goes to..." **drumroll**
_Not her._
I was actually waiting to see another partner up the road in car ready to pull you over, saying they saw everything!
That's next...
With any luck he will jump out as well.
