I have a very similar Generac pressure washer and it’s been very good to me! Bought it new and only use non-ethanol fuel and stored in a heated garage in the winter. Starts up every time on the first or second pull every spring! Mine is 3200 PSI
Not me, i keep non ethanol and stored in a clean indoor environment. About 8 actual hours worth of use ( so about 8-10 uses) the carb is toast. No filter other than one (sort of) covering the fuel fill hole. Carb is constantly clogging. I just can't keep spending so much time cleaning the tank and carb to keep it running when needed. Pos in my opinion...and add on the corrosive metal threads for every water fitting...my opinion on generac is now worse than what generator people have told me. Bad name, junk product through it's entire design.
Enjoyable video to watch, love the presentation. I have the exact model, Starts right up, but when I squeeze the trigger, I get a short burst of water, then barely nothing and within about 15 seconds the motor will temporarily lock up. I am thinking it's the unloader valve, but I have no idea where the unloader valve is located on this thing. Nor do I know if it's bad, or just needs adjustment. Thanks for a great video.
It blows my mind how people throw these $400 to $500 pressure washers in the garbage because they left gas in the tank and gunked up the carburetor. I picked up a 3100 psi Generac pressure washer that wouldn't start for $50 bucks, purchased a $15 HIPA after market carburetor off of Amazon, took 5 minutes to switch out and started on the first pull and runs like new. A whole new pump only costs $45 on Amazon, mine came with a new one, so I'm all set for years to go.
Have the same Generac, same rotted fuel tank. That fuel line is TUH-Rash and I replaced it. Had to Sea Foam and shake the tank with the washers and nuts to get corrosion off. Got it running, then my house well tank couldn't keep up and ended up blowing the pump. 😑
Most of the ones I get have the cheap Honda rocker arm breaking engine with frozen crank pump lol When I get a free good old style engine I order a pump and fix engine Family AllWAYS needs other one 😊😊😊
Definitely get this one running. Very relaxing to watch.
Thanks. I am currently sourcing parts for part 2
@@DEInTheGarage pumped for part 2!!

Mine would work intermittently just like yours . In my case it was the handle. I went to Walmart bought just handle . I think it cost me $20 ?
Right when you say, "blew apart!" looks like the piece was sitting right next to the green hose in the flower bed.😮
Did you ever find the broken piece?
No, but bet I looked! Was going to JB Weld it back on and send it if I did!
