@@IndRepair i clean my carburetor and new spark plug still won’t start the engine is about kick in second and just stop 🛑 i suck out the old gas and i add new fresh gas i need help do you know what would be the problem related to or do i need a new carburetor ? the brand is One Wash Generac 2000-3100 thank you
Thanks for the video. I replaced the carb on my Generac OneWash. I haven't tried it yet. Is it better to use fuel without the ethanol? I know it costs more.
Curious on your opinion. Working on a generator with a bad carb. It is hunting but then it will siphon all gas out thru carb Venturi. Needle and seat work properly. Is it possible that clogged ports could cause this? Thanks
I would test it when it starts to die out to see if you can keep it running on carb cleaner or starting fluid. By siphoned all gas out of venturi you mean it stops providing the engine fuel at all? There is probably none left in the carburetor at this point? Fuel restrictions in line or carb, blocked jets or bad fuel would be my guess
@@IndRepair unit starts fine. Starts to hunt and then eventually dies. Then all remaining gas in tank comes out thru Venturi , down outside of carb onto ground. Continuing until tank is empty. Checked needle/seat with sure test different times and will hold and release pressure. Definitely needs cleaned again to stop hunting. Spark plug is not fouled or white. Is there any other way of emptying tank other than thru needle 🪡 seat? Thanks , my generator. I try to have a theory of why, change one thing and learn if validated. Thanks again.
@@IndRepair Thank you! Always taught, check before installing. In mind it’s like a water tower. It’s on way out and overhead tank makes it crack open. Like you said TIME FOR NEW CARB. Thanks and take care.
If the unloader was bad you wouldn't have it happen with the hose/wand off, it would only do it with the water hooked up when you try to pull the cord a couple times. If the engine seems free (good oil level, no fuel in cylinder/crank) I would pull the pump off to isolate it from the engine and see which one was the culprit. If engine still won't turn with the pump off you know you have an issue there but if it will turn you know you have an issue with the pump being locked up. I don't see that often at all but every now and again. Did you get the one you were to be looking at?
@@IndRepair no , not yet. I mentioned it to him again. He had a neighbor look at it. He messed with the carb. Tried another and he’s had it for a couple months. Curious if anyone has looked at the valves. All I can do is offer. Thanks and take care.

The best thing you can do for any small engine is use ethanol free fuel. Thanks for watching!

Needle/seat has to not be sealing for everything to continue flowing through the carburetor past the needle/seat

I have model 0065960. Will this use the same carb? Thank you!
It will work but looks like that one does not have the fuel shot off built in. May take some slight modification
thanks for video
Thanks for watching!
B/s cam ?
Lol
I had one nearly brand new and cam gear was bad
I was very surprised
So 90% of the time it’s the motor. You say it could be the unloaded. How do you check those? Thanks
