Aliyah a rim runner? Wouldn't that be something. Great to see her in the lab working. She appears trimmer and more fit to me. A fit and fast Aliyah will be a nightmare to guard. A dominate force. Bow! Bow! Bow!
I'm thrilled to hear that enjoyed the anthem. I wrote those songs. They will be released tomorrow. They link will be posted here and I will pin your comment.
Excellent video. I greatly appreciate your clear thinking. You touched on something important. This workout was facing the basket. In other words a power forward workout not a center workout. Instead of looking to replace Smith with another forward KK may be looking at a young athletic center to compliment Boston. I’d also like your thoughts on Temi Fagbenle. I don’t buy the salary argument. Whoever they get to replace her will cost just as much. Age could be an issue but why let her go for nothing. Leaving her unprotected must be part of a bigger plan, but I don’t know what that might look like.
As far as I know the Fever have not released a list of protected players. I think the last player came down to a choice between Temi and Grace and the Fever chose to protect Grace. They are gambling on her potential to back up CC. I have had the same thought as you about AB. She was power forward in college, wasn't she? Cardoso was center.
The Fever can still sign Temi as she is an RFA. She will probably command North of $150K for someone who missed half the season and isn't much of a floor spacer. I'm kind of surprised that GS picked her as they could have just offered her a big contract (which the Fever would have to match or Temi's gone anyway) and she can't be part of any of their long term build. Shows you what little value sits on the Indy bench. Wallace, Wheeler, Samuelson, Dantas and Saxton are the ones not picked. I would have chosen Dantas as she is under a cheap contract and would bring size and a veteran presence. I think that's how the Indy front office looked at it. GS could only pick one of their older bigs and they probably hoped it would be Temi because of her contract situation.
Glad to see these positives and can't wait. Rest of WNBA does the opposite. P.S. Aliyah always seemed versatile in post up, but she could always do so on the move as well. She was never stuck in a spot and could dissapear and appear somewhere else. Mouse in the house :) Happy New Year!
Great breakdown. Let’s go AB, CC and Fever 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Also great AB song 💃🏽

The team is starting to work out!
Let's go AB! I'm so excited. Can not wait to see you on the court with the rest of the Fever team for the 2025 season. 👵🏻🫶⛹️🏽♀️🏀👏
Love the first song. One of your best. Great lyrics.
