How to make Breakfast Tacos on the Blackstone Griddle

🌮 Start your day with mouthwatering Breakfast Tacos! 🌞 I make this recipe more than any other in my house. Whether it's breakfast or dinner, this recipe is a winner. Join us as we whip up the ultimate combination of hash browns, sizzling sausage, creamy eggs, and gooey cheese on the Blackstone E-Series griddle.
Breakfast Taco Recipe with Hash Browns, Sausage, and Eggs
Ingredients:
1 pack of Hungry Jack dried hash browns
Warm water (for rehydrating hash browns)
Jimmy Dean maple breakfast sausage (or hot breakfast sausage)
9 eggs
Mexican cheese blend (about 3/4 to 1/2 of a bag)
Flour tortillas
Instructions:
Rehydrate the Hash Browns:
Open the pack of dried hash browns and place them in a bowl.
Cover the hash browns with warm water and let them sit for a few minutes to rehydrate.
Once rehydrated, drain the excess water off in the sink.
Cook the Sausage:
On a hot griddle (such as the Blackstone E-Series), cook the maple breakfast sausage. You can chop it up into smaller pieces as it cooks.
Push the partially cooked sausage to the side of the griddle.
Cook the Hash Browns:
Add the rehydrated hash browns to the center of the griddle, where it's hottest.
Spread out the hash browns to help them brown up nicely.
Combine Sausage and Hash Browns:
Continue cooking the sausage while combining it with the hash browns, allowing them to brown together.
Prepare the Eggs:
Crack 9 eggs into a bowl and scramble them thoroughly.
Add Eggs to the Griddle:
Spread the combined sausage and hash browns mixture to create space for the eggs.
Quickly pour the scrambled eggs over the mixture, using the sausage and hash browns as a barrier to keep the eggs in place.
Add Cheese:
Sprinkle about three quarters to half of the bag of Mexican cheese blend over the egg mixture.
Mix and Cook:
Begin mixing all the ingredients together on the griddle. Spread them out and flip them continuously until the eggs are fully cooked.
Assemble Breakfast Tacos:
Take flour tortillas and place a generous amount of the cooked egg mixture onto each tortilla.
Serve:
Enjoy your delicious breakfast tacos with the perfect combination of flavors and textures from the maple sausage, hash browns, gooey cheese, and scrambled eggs.

The problem is you have to buy a pound of sausage. Might as well Make the full thing. It’s great left over. I often make it for meal prep and easy it all week

Hot sauce!!!! 😅 I guess it probably wouldn't pair well with the maple. I have done this with regular sausage and Taco Bell fire sauce, and I love it. I'll have to try it with the maple sausage because I love that too!
