These are my first early impressions of Duet Night Abyss and I had a pretty good time with it :D

Anime Warframe? We already got the Boltor, Excalibur, Titania and Mesa. There's Bullet Jumping, directed slam attacks. We even have mods, Forma. There are Capture and Survival missions heck even the Jackal boss fight.
Even the stats are derived from Warframe:
Sanity=Energy
Dmg=Strength
Range, Duration, Efficiency borrowed directly from Warframe. Tolerance is basically mod capacity, and there's even polarity slots.
Also, 3 loadouts. Yup, pretty much Anime Warframe.

@@Yasviele7:40 the Demon Wedges (Mods) use Tolerance (Mod Capacity) and get cheaper if the have the same Track (Polarity)

every time i see gameplay of this game, i think on the back of my mind that this studio just stole waeframe source and reskinned it. like some animations are just copy pasted lol

as a 1.2k hours warframe player ill support this game since I also play gacha games as well (f2p only). At least we can get something like warframe in gacha gaming. it will be so much fun.

I left over 6 years ago so maybe they changed stuff but i remember having to grind at least 6 different type of syndicates (the regular ones from the ship. 2 from the first open world and another 3 from the second), the operator schools , having to forma everything at least twice to make it viable, right when I left you also had the big ship, the nemesis thing on top of the endless grind that is the relic system, both to get the relics and then to use them.
I can't imagine how many new systems they added to the grindfest only to be forgotten (remember kubrows? Idk if they ever updated them after I left)
Most of the ones I mentioned have A DAILY CAP that is attached to your account level, meaning the more you level up the more you can grind (yes you level up stuff faster by being able to get more exp per day but you don't get exp faster meaning a high level player has to grind more than a low level one every day if he doesn't want to waste the daily syndicate exp cap)
@@eminiclam when people say grind walls they typically mean the game prevents you from progressing major parts of the game. The game is still grindy don’t get me wrong it’s warframe after all but most of it is optional grind even today (besides the mech and arch wing) being like 24hour lock out and the mechs being literally 2-3 weeks i totally get you now tho
This game blew me away when I saw the first trailer drop and I was sooo hoping the actual gameplay would be like that! It gives me Devil May Cry combo vibes with the air time and swapping from melee to ranged and I heavily prefer that over the Soulslike perfect parry and dodge. Mobility and style all the way!

Had I known about it when it was still relatively new and when I could game for several hours every day, I likely would've.
@@stryfer1989well.. it's not MMO. It's not even close to MMO. It's more like coop shooter. Missions are very short (~4 min, at max 10 min for standard playing, only much more if you are farming something). IMO it's actually an ideal game for someone who does not have a lot of time for gaming - you can just hop in, play a few missions and hop out

I'm definitely interested! I dig the art style - reminds me a lot of Code Vein, at least at first glance and initial reaction.
Animations look solid and I'll be curious to see how the game grows as it develops.
Yeah this just feels like its a ANIME version of Warframe and I think its quite crazy that there's something like this in the works right now.
With the obvious parallels to Warframe, I do hope they can take the solid foundation that is Warframe's systems and change them up enough to stand on it's own. Otherwise it will always feel like a clone of a much more mature game.

Almost every major game mechanic I had to minimize and double-check if I was listening to an impression of Duet Night Abyss or Warframe.
Played to Warframe nonstop before and now been waiting for another Warframe and now we got it ,and with anime waifu to boot.
Im so excited
finally someone who supports both games. not shits on the other one. Im excited as well. I played over 1k hours warframe and I play gachas as well. So gacha warframe will be so much fun. I cant wait for it.

I haven't played Warframe in years. This one successfully caught my attention.
We really out here pretending this isnt just anime warframe, the entire movement system is just a watered-down warframe one with the exact same animations. I mean berenica's animation is literally just excalibur but floating, same slashes and everything and lynn is just straight up mesa exact same poses, even seems to have the same ramping speed while shooting. And a lot of the systems are... let's say heavily inspired.

If you play it regularly you make over 20-25$ worth of platinum a week (30-50 plat/hour give or take). Who's profiting the most from this cashgrab, let me tell you... players like me while simultaneously getting tons of content regularly and supporting devs for more

It's shit, simple as, once i got a PC that could actually run games i just jumped ship.

It seems to have all the systems from warframe with a new skin. Looks cool but id like to see more of how this would stand on its own. Other then the asthetic, I don't see anything that makes this stand out from warframe in any major way.

Good to know Demon Wedge works exactly like mods in Warframe.
So far looks great. The only thing that I saw from watching twitch streams is the weapon on the character's back. It doesn't have much movement or bounce and looks kind of awkward when the character is moving around.

Do you really expect here generousity of Warframe devs with their fair item gathering system? It's gonna be another gacha trash with paywall and powercreep. And like other gacha devs I bet they won't rework characters if they're released weak or outdated. While Waframe updates all existing stuff constantly.

This is so fking similar to warframe that I'm actually worried for it. Not because of copyright or anything, but because I think players will not find anything unique about it.
Warframe is a game with the best possible free to play monetization system ever implemented. Duet Night on the other hand, will be a gacha. So far, I can't see anything Duet night does better than warframe that justifies the gacha system it will probably get.
Some of you will say "but it has waifus". Yeah, warframe has that too. Except the "waifus" in warframe don't have a human face... until "recently" that is.
No, you should be worried about copyright too. The dev team has been sued by Tencent before and Tencent won. And guess who has majority shares in Digital Extremes? If this doesn't die on its own, Tencent is sure to kill it to keep their share value up.... Especially with Warfame becoming available on mobile

this, my first thought was whether or not its by PGR dev. judging from the comments its warframe with PGR skin. What worries me is the second stat below enemy hp if its shield stat cuz that is prone to powerscaling/powercreeping cycle in gachas. The multitude of customization seems promising tho, although it doesnt look like it has Warframes variety of status reaction shenanigans

The gameplay and mechanics are a simplified version of Warframe's. That is not a bad thing per se, if the developers do something fun with them that doesn't feel like "Warframe at home".
