hypixel has been trying that in bedwars and skywars the problem is ppl report every 1 in the game to get back a ws and it just annoys the mods also the cheater might not have impacted you in the game so you lost fair
When you think about how much content we leach out of this stale of a version of bridge, imagine the amount of content just 2 or 3 new maps would add. People could be looking for new strategies on those maps for months and months without it feeling old, which is a crazy return compared to lets say a new bedwars map where the meta just remains pvping. (obviously its a lot to expect for a gamemode that isnt as mainstream as something like bedwars, but still a nice thought)
or a friends list/party list setting. So for example you have a friends setting that says "can spectate" or "can't spectate" Because i think if both players had to click confirm it would just slow down the game a little.
And u can set in settings if everyone can spectate u! Imagine a YT'er like Speed goes live (or Cheetahh) and does competetive bridge. He will turn the setting on that everyone can spectate and BOOM! Otherwise u'll get spammed with requests :P

Suggestion: Add a setting in tournaments where you can create a private tournament with your prviate party (Wouldn't count towards tournament stats, like how a /duel doesn't count for wins). This would make hosting things like buckytour 10x easier and would be really fun for streamers private parties.
As a smaller bridge content creator, I completely agree with this video. Theres only so much content I can make with an outdated game, but an update would definitely cause for more content which benefits creators, competitive players, and casual players. It's a win win for everybody. Bridge has a very bright future. Thanks for making the video, Speed. Maybe admins will take into account how big the community is and give us some new content.
I really like these voiceover/documentary style videos speed you should do more of these in the future . It really shows how much your content has improved and its clear you have put in the effort
5:50 about having barriers for the goals, the server can make it to where the barrier blocks aren't there for one team by using a thing called ProtocolLib (basically magic in simpler terms) so it's easily possible for them to fix it.
Also, it'll just cause lag backs, since the blocks aren't actually there, or if the blocks are there and you use packets to pretend it's air, it'll look like the player is going through the block, making Watchdog alert, so I think the easiest way overall would just be using barrier blocks, no packets
There's another glitch which is rare and not exclusive to bridge but at times when you queue a different gamemode you get put into a map for another gamemode. This once happened to me when I was playing UHC duels and got put into a bridge map.
6 months later and the video made a difference, the map changes were made, so many good things have happened to bridge and I want to thank u speed for being a big part of it

I REALLY LIKE THE PRIVATE GAMES IDEA, one thing about the map selector is maybe one map will never queue or peoples favourite map will be not available, overall this video is EPIC and I hope Hypixel sees it!
The best thing about this video is that you know speed cares enough about this because now that he has RUclips rank, some of these things don't affect him anymore like getting lagged back. This is what's so great about speed is he still addresses it for the good of the people rather than for the good of himself
Another bug that rarely happens is where players can spawn in the wrong cage and have the wrong color armor, but can score in the goal on the island they spawn on. This is rare but happens more in 2v2v2v2 and 3v3v3v3 bridge. I have had it happen to me in solos once though.

Not sure if you talked about this or not, but Hypixel should also fix the bow knockback direction glitch (which I'm pretty sure is from vanilla but they can almost certainly fix it from the server side alone). Basically, in bridge duels, you never actually die, when you do, you really just get teleported. This, combined with the fact that Minecraft calculates arrow knockback based on the position of the shooter when the arrow lands rather than when the arrow was shot, can cause arrows to do some really wonky knockback, even the opposite of what it should be, if the player "died" while the arrow was en-route to it's target. Hypixel just needs to make the server calculate knockback based on the arrow's actual direction.
I would love to give three options for the Spawnprotection fix: 1. Remove Spawn protection from Bridge 2. Make it like bedwars in which if they hit you, then they would lose it 3. Make it never disappear and you will never be able to hit anyone

Another small feature I've found pretty annoying has to do with compass game selection. All of the games at the bottom can be custom set to any game, which is extremely useful in some cases. For example, you can set one of the games to be specifically skywars insane doubles, so you don't have to go to the lobby and run/fly over to the npc every time, or memorize the command for it. This also works with 7 different duel modes, such as classic duels, uhc duels, sumo duels. However, for whatever reason, bridge duels just aren't included. Though not a huge deal, it would definitely be nice to add it, cuz at least for me, that would save some time. Guess I just have to memorize whatever the /play command for it is.

A type of winstreak appeal system would be cool for the competitive community if implemented. For example, it could be added on to the forums and if you lost to a cheater/got flown on you could appeal to get your winstreak back by inputting the replay, a description of what happened, and the cheater's ign and your ign. I see how this could be abused, but something like it or very similar could eradicate cheaters from sniping winstreaks illegitimately.
Bridge is one of the fastest growing communities and the player count can peak up to 3000 players playing at a time. This added on with many new content creators making it big while making videos on this mode shows that it will only grow more and more in the future. Updating bridge will bring many new players and bring old players back to the game only increasing the player count and sparking new interest in bridge. Bridge Deserves an Update.

Spectator and picking maps have been something I’ve wanted for so long

The falling out of the cage glitch has happened to me twice before but everyone in the lobby seemed to have been released early

I think small things like removing carpets and flower pots really should be done soon as I imagine it isn't that hard.

The Bridge map selecter for nons will change the game a lot
the map selector would only be for /duels

There were a few games where I was able to get to the enemy's goal before everyone is relased from the cage, wait for the lag to stop, and score.
