I really like that thing I use that one and switch it up w the papaya one from kinnship. G&G is scent free vs the papaya scented lovely flowery light scent. I only order large orders for them since I cant order 1 or 2 products at a time anyway, hence avoiding the shipping costs. Works our for me. Love this brand!
I also tend to like the Kinship Papaya Cleanser- it is gentle, and the scent is light enough that it doesn't bother me. I just placed another G&G order and hit the free shipping minimum- I'm always buying their products for friends and family because they work so well for all different skin types.
Just received my first G&G order in the mail today, including two Jelly Joker cleansers! Well-timed review and thank you for recommending this in the past - it’s part of why I purchased 🙂.
Once I finish my current face washes I’m going to order one. I think it is worth the try. The only face wash that can help if left for a few minutes on the skin, is the one that contains BHA.

Totally agree about not needing lots of crazy ingredients in a face wash. It's on the skin for such a short period and it all goes down the drain. As long as it's gentle. Blows my mind that people spend so much on cleansers, like the tata Harper regenerating cleanser, $86 for 4oz! Plenty of other nice affordable bha cleansers. The Tata Harper one really is spending money just to spend money. I'd rather spend money on a spa trip than a wash!
I still am embarrased that I bought that stupid expensive Augustinus Bader Cleanser- I did the currency conversion in my head all wrong, will never spend that much on a cleanser again unless it melts down into liquid gold!
Shipping cost to US is a bit high, so the added cost makes this not such a cheap choice, doesn’t it? This has been my only barrier to trying. Still might . . .
I've found two of my friends love their apad and c glow, and I got all my nieces theri cleanser for birthday gifts, so doing that helps, or just waiting and stocking up, but hard to know what you might like until you've tried it.
I love putting things to good use! When my mom was sick before she died she had a housekeeper helping her with things around the house- they ended up being best of friends, so I stay in touch with her and give her so many goodies and gift with purchases- she gets to send them to her family in mexico- I just love that because most are products they probably don't sell around where they live. I've been using good old Bioderma micellar water and quite affordable + sooooo gentle and multipractic Nature Republic Aloe Vera cleansing cream (can be used as a gentle cleanser, cream, for hair, etc).

I like foaming cleansers that use coconut/vegetable fatty acid surfactants. The ones that don’t foam aren’t very satisfying. But By Beauty Bay Super Jelly Cleansing Gel is a pretty good non-foaming cleanser. Very similar to something like CeraVe hydrating but cruelty free and vegan. Shipping to the US from beauty bay is only $4, free on orders above $50. The thirst class moisturiser and clay mask are very good. Many of the serums have essential oils but they aren’t very strong. The packaging on the serums does feel cheap but they are super affordable so it is acceptable
Hi Sarah despite enjoying many of the G&G products and the Agame being a HG, I haven't tried the cleanser yet. I always seem to have enough cleanser and was put off by the fact it's a foaming cleanser - my very dry skin really loves a milk or cream cleanser much more. I thought about ordering it for the Summer, but didn't need to reorder my other products at that time (I usually order at least two of my favourites per order, to hit the cheaper shipping to the UK). I've kind of stopped trying gel or foaming cleansers tbh, although this does seem like a good one and it's nice it got a "10". Going into the colder months I know my skin wants a rich cream cleanser - even as a second or morning cleanse. I may try it eventually though and it is really hyped amongst some of the content creators I watch. I tried not cleansing in the morning last Winter and honestly didn't like it. Washing with lukewarm water and a washcloth did not get off the residue from all my previous evening's skincare. I went over it with misceller water and there was still a load of stuff on my face after using just the water. I do use very rich occlusive creams overnight to seal in my skincare and provide comfort to my very dry skin - many are marketed as body creams eg lipikar, altruist 10% urea cream and cicaplast balm etc. Water alone isn't enough to get the residue from those off effectively in my experience, but we're all different. I like a gentle cleanse in the morning for my skin for that reason. At the moment I'm either using the Avene antirougours cleanser when I feel extra dry or the LRP toleraine hydrating cleanser. Sephora has to be getting a little nervous- I mean, Ulta has taken a lot of their "key" brands - Sunday Riley, Bobbi Brown, Fresh, Keihls, Josie Maran- Sephora only has a handful of brands that are exclusive to them, they have to be getting nervous. At least nervous about their status in the US.
Such a wonderful brand- one of the few brands that I trust to recommend to many friends and family- I just picked up cleansers, the apad, and the vitamin c serum for friends and family- and I never worry that it will work well for them! Sending you love from Minnesota- getting cold here already!
This year G&G have released a few fantastic new products so now I don't have any trouble ordering enough to get free shipping here in the UK! They also do decent sizes so it can be a couple of months before I need to reorder. I like trying different cleansing balms/oils, but I always go to Jelly Joker for my second cleanse, it's so smooth and gentle. I'm hoping they introduce a nice moisturiser to the range soon. Can you review the entire Olay Vitamin C collection? I believe it's new. They came out with a serum, moisturizer, and eye cream. Would love to know your thoughts before I purchase!💜
I haven't seen them yet- but was able to find the products on their website- looks like a ton of new goodies. They use Ethyl Ascorbic Acid in them- which is a derviative that is more stable than tradiitional ascorbic acid, and it initially appears to have both the antioxidant and brightening benefits, although I still wait for a bit more research on most of these derivatives. Also has peptides. All the new ones have fragrance, which makes me wonder if they are going to release a fragrance free version, Olay has been pretty good recently with offering fragrance free options for most of their products.
It's been a long time since I tried Belief- I'll have to give them a whirl again- really enjoyed the Hungarian Water Essence and their Water Bomb Night Mask was also quite nice!
I shipped to South Africa. The shipping is not so bad but I paid alot of custom fees. I love this brand especially the c-glow and retinal products. I will definitely buy again even with the custom fees it is an awesome product and still cheaper than buying the same type and quality of products available to me in my country.
I got the sample size as a gift with purchase from sephora, it is really nice. I tried their orignal indigo cream and it was nice, but really thick, this newer version isn't as thick and it spreads nicely over the skin, a nice option for very dry skin. I would say for acne prone skin to be a bit cautious, but otherwise it is nice, might pick up the full size this fall during the sephora sale!

I struggle with eczema so I think both products would work for be though I do wish TATCHA would go back to the triple soothing recovery cream with 3% colloidal oatmeal, that worked literally miracles for my skin with hyperpigmentation, fine lines/wrinkles and overall appearance. They must have done literally zero testing on these products- it is so annoying to mess around with caps when you are soaking wet and have your hands full of soap. My pet peeve it is becoming!

It comes at a great time since my country just passed a weight tax on all packages shipped from outside the EU and I’m having issues getting comparable “local” skincare to what I usually buy on yesstyle. I think this could be a good replacement for the Heimish green cleanser. Your opinion on free shipping makes me laugh, I share it but my mum doesn’t and sometimes when I’m frantically adding 20€ worth of things to the cart to make free shipping she’ll look at me like I’m mad because the shipping fee is something like 5€. But I will not pay shipping!
I'm so with you on shipping- I'd rather have one more product to try than pay anything for shipping. It's just a mental block I have. The Hemish Cleanser is wonderful as well- but I could see how it could get pricey buying it and having to pay taxes on it as well as buying other goodies for the free shipping. This Cleanser is so wonderful, too. You'll have to let me know how you like it!
I've got a few- the first is the Kinship Supermello Hydrating Gel Cream Moisturizer- has a natural vanilla scent to it which I found quite pleasant. The CosRX Balancium B5 D-Panthenol Cream is another good one- really hydrating but not greasy feeling, and it's pretty affordable. The Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Cream is also wonderful, perfect for fall, and decently priced.
I wouldn’t mind if you accepted sponsorships. You deserve to get paid. Maybe do non-skincare ads so it doesn’t look like you’re being influenced by a skincare sponsorship?

I'm not sure I have an exact answer, but I have read that tretinoin can degrade a bit under artificial and sunlight- although the amount it degrades is quite small, so in three hours it probably won't degrade enough that it wouldn't make sense not to use it or to wait to apply it. The studies I've seen don't discuss retinol, they discuss the stronger retinoid tretinoin. I would say there is some deterioration, but I probably wouldn't recommend doing anything different because of that. Artificial lights also appear to cause less deterioration than sunlight. The reason I haven't ordered this because I realised that all the unfrangranced cleansers I have make me skip my cleanse or make me feel lazy to do it. Would you recommend something which might have a fruity or pleasant scent.
The Kinship Papaya Cleanser is a nice and gentle second step cleanser- has a slight fruit scent. The Hanskin PHA Cleansing Balm is also really nice- great first step cleanser. Farmacy also has some nice gently scented cleansers - worth checking those out- and the Farmacy Cleansing Balm now has a variety of scents. I love the cleansing balm from them so much, I still use it even though I typically prefer unscented.
I too use mainly unscented skincare but I have made an exception for the Fresh Soy face cleanser, I think the scent is divine and it makes me look forward to cleansing!

@@sugerless20 are they small? The sizes seem pretty industry standard to me. Having said that, would love for the Liquid Hydration to come in 200ml.

I will definitely buy again even with the custom fees it is an awesome product and still cheaper than buying the same type and quality of products available to me in my country.
Very true- most true Retinal products are close to $100- Medik8, Avene, Etc are all so pricey so G&G is a bargain if you look at it that way.

I got the sample size as a gift with purchase from sephora, it is really nice. I tried their orignal indigo cream and it was nice, but really thick, this newer version isn't as thick and it spreads nicely over the skin, a nice option for very dry skin. I would say for acne prone skin to be a bit cautious, but otherwise it is nice, might pick up the full size this fall during the sephora sale!

I struggle with eczema so I think both products would work for be though I do wish TATCHA would go back to the triple soothing recovery cream with 3% colloidal oatmeal, that worked literally miracles for my skin with hyperpigmentation, fine lines/wrinkles and overall appearance. They must have done literally zero testing on these products- it is so annoying to mess around with caps when you are soaking wet and have your hands full of soap. My pet peeve it is becoming!

Cleansers with a high pH can potentially compromise the natural acid mantle that our skin needs to stay healthy.
Exactly what Jordillo said- if the ph is on the low side it tends to be more gentle and closer to skins natural pH.

It comes at a great time since my country just passed a weight tax on all packages shipped from outside the EU and I’m having issues getting comparable “local” skincare to what I usually buy on yesstyle. I think this could be a good replacement for the Heimish green cleanser.
Your opinion on free shipping makes me laugh, I share it but my mum doesn’t and sometimes when I’m frantically adding 20€ worth of things to the cart to make free shipping she’ll look at me like I’m mad because the shipping fee is something like 5€. But I will not pay shipping!
I'm so with you on shipping- I'd rather have one more product to try than pay anything for shipping. It's just a mental block I have. The Hemish Cleanser is wonderful as well- but I could see how it could get pricey buying it and having to pay taxes on it as well as buying other goodies for the free shipping. This Cleanser is so wonderful, too. You'll have to let me know how you like it!

I've got a few- the first is the Kinship Supermello Hydrating Gel Cream Moisturizer- has a natural vanilla scent to it which I found quite pleasant. The CosRX Balancium B5 D-Panthenol Cream is another good one- really hydrating but not greasy feeling, and it's pretty affordable. The Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Cream is also wonderful, perfect for fall, and decently priced.
I find this quite similar to the ELF bounce back cleanser

I'm not sure I have an exact answer, but I have read that tretinoin can degrade a bit under artificial and sunlight- although the amount it degrades is quite small, so in three hours it probably won't degrade enough that it wouldn't make sense not to use it or to wait to apply it. The studies I've seen don't discuss retinol, they discuss the stronger retinoid tretinoin. I would say there is some deterioration, but I probably wouldn't recommend doing anything different because of that. Artificial lights also appear to cause less deterioration than sunlight. The reason I haven't ordered this because I realised that all the unfrangranced cleansers I have make me skip my cleanse or make me feel lazy to do it. Would you recommend something which might have a fruity or pleasant scent.
The Kinship Papaya Cleanser is a nice and gentle second step cleanser- has a slight fruit scent. The Hanskin PHA Cleansing Balm is also really nice- great first step cleanser. Farmacy also has some nice gently scented cleansers - worth checking those out- and the Farmacy Cleansing Balm now has a variety of scents. I love the cleansing balm from them so much, I still use it even though I typically prefer unscented.
I too use mainly unscented skincare but I have made an exception for the Fresh Soy face cleanser, I think the scent is divine and it makes me look forward to cleansing!
