Remember the whole thing with the control tower and the cavalry charge? I suppose the final order didn’t account for the possibility that they would have to fight ON Exegol But their real problem was building spaceships inside a planet’s atmosphere to begin with. Not Sheev’s brightest idea!
Stellaris ships only have guns on the "top". 3 dimensional movements would be a game-changer. Although I'm more interested in the ability to parallel park.
