It's funny, I was just thinking about this show. I recently read a little tidbit that I wasn't aware of: Apparently Megan Mullaly wasn't orginally cast as Elizabeth, and Roger Bart was cast as Igor, not Victor. Instead, their roles were supposed to be played by Kristin Chenoweth and Zachary Levi. Both of them dropped out to do pilots; Kristin did "Pushing Daisies", and Zachary did "Chuck". I adore both of those shows, and think Megan and Roger were perfect in their roles (not to mention how great Christopher Fitzgerald was aa Igor), so everything worked out for the best.
