After baggage claim there is nothing to do, you can take a metro train and go to nearby mall (metro mall) and tell your friend to do same

It took me 1 hour the first time and about 45 minutes the second time. There were MANY MORE people when I was going through.

I got prices for a private transfer but the rates for taxi seems to be much cheaper. Are taxi prices set, so there are no surprises?
Taxi should charge 15$ to 20$ till downtown, uber will more cheaper

Hi, travelling to your lovely country tomorrow. There will be 5 of us together and it’s our first time visiting. I know the weather forecast doesn’t look too promising but I’m hopeful. After watching your video, I’m pretty sure we’ll have no problem getting through the airport and getting into the city. One question for you. Is it cheaper to get a taxi right outside the doors or should we go somewhere else outside to get a deal on a fare? I just don’t want us to be taken advantage of.. I know some words in Spanish but not enough to haggle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Also you can get in metro from airport to Station Ingenio that take a uber
