    Thanks for the airport metro information. I stayed in Panamá City for all of February and used the metro a lot and this new airport link would of been a real bonus as the bus link to the metro from the airport was the only negative.

    Thank you very much for this wonderful video and for this information that serves the community. This information is considered a guide for visiting beautiful Panama. We hope to visit the beautiful city of Panama. Greetings and appreciation. The future of Panama, as well as the countries of Latin America, must be built. This is great information. I hated paying $30 for a taxi when it usually costs $12 - 14 by Uber.

    Good video and very complete information about my hometown. If you don't mind, I'd like to add that I've personally requested the Uber service after arriving in Tocumen Airport and have been successful every time, while being picked up on the lane that's located between the parking lot and the lane in front of the bottom floor's main entrance.
    Greetings and thanks for the information you shared so concisely in the video.

    I bought a white metro card in 2022. Do you think it would be valid for my visit this year 2024? Is there a metro website to get these answers?
    Also what are the best phone companies to purchase sim card

    Great video. I arrive in Tocumen December 2nd around 7:30pm for a trip to Boquete. I never sleep while traveling to and from a location so I was looking into taking overnight buses to David & then Boquete. Since my night vision isn't that great, I was wondering if you had any advice about taking the metro to the bus bus station? I had considered taking a taxi/uber, but was advised against that. Thanks.

    • @EverythingPanama
      @EverythingPanama  Год назад +1

      You would need to know what is the latest the coaches depart for Boquete. Very very likley, almost certain bust best to know.
      After confirming that is possible same day, then why not take the Metro to Albrook and once you exit the metro you’re virtually there in the bus terminal. This vid shows at one point how to go from the Albrook Metro to Bus Albrook terminal. ruclips.net/video/kJrn5uW5C38/видео.html You then need to find a ticket booth for Boquete and you’re good. But you could use Uber too, especially if you have a lot of bags or want to relax more (avoid walking between Metro platforms).
      What has been said about Uber? There is only the scam to watch for that you can see here, easily avoided ruclips.net/video/TA9owc7jtaM/видео.html
      i hope that has been useful, let me know if you require further help and please consider subscribing!

      @@EverythingPanama Hi, already subscribed.and I believe the overnight leaves Panama City around 10:30-11:30 that evening. I will only be carrying a regular backpack and a personal item bag. Since I don't see well at night, one of my two concerns was walking from the Airport to the Metro. I would feel silly taking a taxi for 350 meters, but probably better safe than sorry. I am not sure what you meant about not walking between platforms. My second concern it changing buses in David. My understanding is that the bus passes through David but only stops if you request it. Then you have to take a second bus from David to Boquete. Once I am on the bus to Boquete, all is well and I should arrive before 6am. By traveling overnight, y, I will gain an extra day in Boquete! If there is someone in the ticket area at the bus terminal, i am hoping to ask them to write down everything for me to show to the bus driver. Wish I was leaving tomorrow, but work dictates December travel.

    • @EverythingPanama
      @EverythingPanama  Год назад +2

      1. During the Metro journey to Albrook you will have to get off one and onto another Metro, walking some distance. It is all well lit and inside the station. 2. If you have limited vision in low light then I would recommend getting a head light, those on a band, so your hands are free and the issue won’t impact you. I have ok vision but have several because there are always power cuts and badly lit places. 3. Buses generally stop only if requested or if someone getting on. The driver and the conductor “pavo” as he is called in slang, sometimes forget to stop even if you ask when you get on, but 95% of the time they’re good. In new areas to me, I normally look for a couple of landmarks en route in google maps so I know I am close. I also usually try to ask at least people on the bus to know where I am and how far, so between them and the pavo and what I’ve seen on google maps, then it’s foolproof. And I always move up front when I can. And you can use your phone/maps if you have data. All you have to do is say David with an inflection as if a question and people will indicate when the stop is. Then say Boquete. People will help.

    Is taking the metro to Allbrook mall the way to get to the Allbrook bus station? Sorry if that is a dumb question.

    • @EverythingPanama
      @EverythingPanama  Год назад +3

      No such thing as a dumb question. When you exit the metro there’s only one exit. There you can go into the street (almost a hidden exit) or you can go up an escalator which is really obvious and 99% of people go there. There is only one escalator, go up it and over the footbridge and you’re in the bus terminal. i made a little map of the metro, the walk between and the terminal and it also shows the mall in this video PS if you want a free bathroom go into Super99, it’s in the cafeteria area’s corner. ruclips.net/video/kJrn5uW5C38/видео.html

      No, it’s 3 in one. Metro, MetroBus, and the $0.10 turnstyle/entrance fee in Albrook Transport Terminal for buses and coaches departing there other than Metrobus.

    How long does it take to get from El Congrejo (Via Argentian station) to the airport including both trains and waiting for the transfer at San Miguelto?
    How long is the walk from the airport metro station to Terminal 1?
    Thanks!

    • @EverythingPanama
      @EverythingPanama  Год назад +1

      El Cangrejo/Via Argentina allow about ~50mins. There are places you need to walk to change Metro lines, so how crowded they are, like rush-hour, can have a slight impact.
      To walk from the Metro to T1 allow 5mins. If you have a lot of baggage the free shuttle is available but takes a while info here ruclips.net/video/RIRo7eSNGus/видео.html
      If your flight is with Copa ignore the “T1 departure” and go to T2 more info here ruclips.net/video/Vvm-Nv64x8c/видео.html
