I don’t like colors and patterns, I also prefer my home in neutral colors but I like a bit more character and edginess. I use more decoration in my home, a lot more dark colors and many industrial elements. But your esthetic is divine as well, it suits you a lot.
Katelyn B, I agree. I like a little more character and edge in the atmosphere and architecture with more classic, elegant furnishings. One of my dreams is to make an eco-friendly home out of a renovated abandoned warehouse!

Just because you mentioned it: If you are wondering what to do with hygiene products (shampoos, lotions, etc.) after you have tried them, you could consider donating them to homeless shelters or organisations that support women in need. In Berlin there are the Caritas, Obdachlosenhilfe and many other organizations that would take these things- and you would not have to worry about the clutter anymore 😊 Just an idea, I thought it might be worth mentioning!
I was about to recommend the same! Jenny, if there's any organization that'll help trans women I would also suggest you look into that. I find that there's not as many donations to such causes compared to others, at least here in the states..
Aren't trans women just men who are trying to be like women? Why would they need donations? I don't think we should be equalizing battered women and "trans women." One is a victim of violence and the other is a choice.

Totally agree with what you said about light in your living room! I love natural light. Our minimalist apartment is the same except we decided to put our bed there & make it the bedroom :) Your home is beautiful.
Jenny and David I just love your apartment. It's so calming, zen and stylish. There is nothing so soothing as a white apartment but I did see a container style, very minimalistic, one room open concept house that the walls were a deep charcoal grey that was unbelievably so calming and zen. It was out in the woods with a lake view and all glass front and back. Everything was behind these charcoal gray panels and only a few things out on a counter or table. Anyplace that has more than a few items out makes me irritated. My former apartment was open concept living/dining room, galley kitchen, bedroom was large and a huge walk in closet that could've been another room but the dresser was built into the wall. Walls were white, no artwork on them. Sofa and oversized chair all white. Coffee table was glass inlaid in silvertone metal from IKEA. Little balcony too. Best place I have ever lived at. Most calming also. I will be moving again and will only take an all white apartment, off white might be pushing it but considered depending on the shade. Picky, picky, picky, I know but I only feel calm within the parameters that I want. Maybe I'll move in with the two of you, lol. Thank you for the update and it's still as beautiful as before. 💖

Yes to the clean white look! But with lots of plants. I love the way the natural light hits everything & how light & airy it feels. I had the same problem of getting rid of clothes to quickly! I decided closet & food was not going to be minimalist because that is what I enjoy. Love your videos Jenny, keep them coming! Xx
I love natural light too and having open blinds, I am very lucky to live in a warm climate where we have lots of sunshine. I do like neutrals (whites, greys, black and beige) but I also like a coloured feature wall to bring a bit of energy to the room. Thanks for the cool apartment tour!
My ideal colour palette would skew more beiges and browns and maybe maroon / gold accents for winter household items. I prefer warmth over airiness in a home, because I put myself out there so much in my theatre work. A warm home is a warm hug to my heart

Hi Jenny, I love your apartment ascetics, its so pleasant to look at it and the color theme is perfect, some greys, neutrals and white make the whole place brighter with natural light. I absolutely love it. I also love color, but its not always flattering if not put properly. The space looks great!!
I like a balance between the two. I like playing with form texture colours but everything has to have its place, which sometimes can be difficult to maintain, especially in a small space. As a student I also love to use books as deco, as I can't put artwork in my studio, but in a way, I dont really mind! I also really agree with the natural light, it can create really pretty forms!
I would have an apartment that's very white as well. :) But with more texture, natural wood tones, and fuzzy blankets as I'm a sucker for a cozy vibe. (:
Oh I would absolutely live in an apartment like yours! It’s so neat and clean and MINIMAL! I live in a house that’s far more cluttered and messy, but it’s slowly getting more minimal the more my roommates realize how little I have to clean my room due to how minimal it is 😅
Jenny, I really love your apartment. When I had a house on a Greek island, I had the entire interior white, and it had marble dust in the paint- so beautiful as it had a slight sparkle in the sunlight. Now I live in the Pacific Northwest in the US in a tiny Victorian style house almost 100 yr. old. I have had many different houses and apartments, and I always feel each place has a 'voice' that I must pay attention to before I run out and buy paint or furniture. So this little house has all charcoal grey walls and ceilings, and it feels cozy. Most of the furniture is antique.
Your apartment brings me so much peace, and it's super stylish! One thing I really like about having a minimalist space is how easy it is to clean. Nothing is in the way or cluttered and filled with dust!! Also, Jenny may I ask where are your glasses from? I've been looking for something similar, they look soooo good.
I got my own apartment a year ago and I renovated and decorated it inspired by you! I kinda laughed watching this video because it is so similar :D And I love it. White walls, mostly white furniture, some wood and neutral tones. A gray couch. Mirror and fresh flowers in minimalistic vases. Of course I don't keep it as tidy every day, but I'm fine with that :D The only thing that really differs, is that I paint, so I have quite a lot of art around. I also painted flowers on the wall next to the bed. But overall it is still quite scandi-minimalistic (if I'd only clean every day). Love from Estonia!

We moved into a small new built house 3 months ago and just got some bedroom furniture (white drawers), with the white walls I simply love the minimalist feel of our bedroom. I thought I would like to decorate it but I used 2 plants and now I don't want to add anything else! For some people it may seem empty or raw but for me it's perfect :)

Bare is best- my anxiety has gone way down since I de-cluttered my space.....plus (funny story) when we were getting our furnace and ducts cleaned, the guy asked if we just moved in because there was nothing in his way, I said no, we're just minimalists- we've lived here 3 years.

I agree that some seating in the kitchen is nice because sometimes I like company but I don’t want their help cooking 😂 In regards to color: I think 1-2 art pieces gives the room character. I prefer warmer tones, even ivory instead of white for example and bolder colors as accents in pillows, curtains, furniture or gold in the metal.

I like my home minimalist and airy. I would definitely live in an apartment like yours. My home is just a little less just whit but still neutral, we have white, beige, a medium cool grey, and charcoal as the colors in our house (and the nursery has mint in it since we wanted her room to have a touch of color).
I'm very much the opposite of a minimalist. I'm very messy and a maximalist at heart. But i love watching your video's to get some tips on minimalism so i can balance out my home a bit. I also find it very inspiring to see how your home suits you so well. I love it when people live in a space that is clearly a part of who they are, it makes it that much more personal. whether they have a lot of stuff or not.
I started becoming a minimalist about four years ago and I love it. My house us not clutter. I can move freely and if I am relocating I do not have to pay a lot to move or have my furniture and clothes ship to my new location.
my ideal space is similar, but more black than white, and with more artwork since i'm a big art person. of course, with a nice record player and speaker set up

You really inspired me when it comes to design, I like everything to be minimalistic now :) I used to love the combination of wood and bricks (or stone) but I understand white now :) also the importance of the feeling of open space in the house and how big furniture can block the room if they don't merge with the background. I always loved natural light and thanks to you I like the idea of not having ceiling lights at all. cant wait to have my own place to be able to design it

I luv the white. I wear mostly white. Sometimes country farmhouse or shabby chic are to clutery, but I luv the softness and coziness of that style. I wish I had two house I could decorate with two different styles. The go to which ever one I felt like that day.

I love your apartment! I agree that some seating in the kitchen is nice because sometimes I like company but I don’t want their help cooking 😂
In regards to color: I think 1-2 art pieces gives the room character. I prefer warmer tones, even ivory instead of white for example and bolder colors as accents in pillows, curtains, furniture or gold in the metal.

I like my home minimalist and airy. I would definitely live in an apartment like yours. My home is just a little less just whit but still neutral, we have white, beige, a medium cool grey, and charcoal as the colors in our house (and the nursery has mint in it since we wanted her room to have a touch of color).
I think a i have a nice balance of minimal and clean/white with a little color and homie-ness. 🙌🏼
I'm very much the opposite of a minimalist. I'm very messy and a maximalist at heart. But i love watching your video's to get some tips on minimalism so i can balance out my home a bit. I also find it very inspiring to see how your home suits you so well. I love it when people live in a space that is clearly a part of who they are, it makes it that much more personal. whether they have a lot of stuff or not.

I started becoming a minimalist about four years ago and I love it. My house us not clutter. I can move freely and if I am relocating I do not have to pay a lot to move or have my furniture and clothes ship to my new location.

I loooove your home! I will soon move in with my boyfriend for the first time. We just started to work so we don't have very much money and we had to choose an apartment that is VERY small. I hope we will be alright in there and I think I will try to make it seem more airy in some ways... Maybe starting with some fresh flowers and some mirrors ;)

Very interesting Jenny! Love your bright living space, and it’s interesting to share your dilemma with having to have ‘stuff’ for my job. I worry about your ‘influencer’ voice though. I cannot listen to many people who force bass tones into their voice, and a lot of your attraction is your genuine Swedishness. So please don’t force anything and just be your lovely self. It hasn’t exactly held you back so far! :)

You really inspired me when it comes to design, I like everything to be minimalistic now :) I used to love the combination of wood and bricks (or stone) but I understand white now :) also the importance of the feeling of open space in the house and how big furniture can block the room if they don't merge with the background. I always loved natural light and thanks to you I like the idea of not having ceiling lights at all. cant wait to have my own place to be able to design it

This is amazing !! Your home is goals. I am far from being as much as a minimalist as you, but I tend to feel so much calmer when I don’t have visual clutter around.
I luv the white. I wear mostly white. Sometimes country farmhouse or shabby chic are to clutery, but I luv the softness and coziness of that style. I wish I had two house I could decorate with two different styles. The go to which ever one I felt like that day.
Ok just looked at the Ikea catalog. Omg changed my mind. It's so busy. I got anxiety just looking. Give me less. I want to be able to move in one hour.
